thanks earthsci - i too am not going to be digging the bandwagon fans

however, it's super cool to actually find apparel in stores, see articles in nationwide press, etc (even if the republic used the old helmet on the front page after 5 years.......)

Cronos

I'd probably give a slight edge to Hines at WR, but it would be very slight and with the age factor I think jackson pulls even

I give stevens a slight edge over heath miller

I'd put Engram over Randle-el

Also with JJ as depth that helps a lot

RB and FB is a nice advantage so the overall RB/WR package i'd give the edge to the hawks

I like pittsburg too. Their defense is playing real well. But as a gambling man I'll take the points. Steelers in a close one.

P.S. Left out H on purpose...:p

Just a hunch, but I think the Steelhawks are going to triumph over the Sealers.

So they dropped the D and simply went by the name, Car-Pitts.

Ironically, your joke is correct...

During World War II, the Steelers experienced player shortages. They twice merged with other NFL franchises in order to field a team. During the 1943 season, they merged with the Philadelphia Eagles forming the "Phil-Pitt Eagles" and were known as the "Steagles". This team went 5-4-1. In 1944 they merged with the Chicago Cardinals and were known as "Card-Pitt" and informally known as the "Car-Pitts" or "Carpets".

I have to go with my boy Big Ben. He was my favorite draft pick when he came out two years ago and he's done nothing but make me proud since.

Everyone is picking Pittsburgh. They are a 6th seed & Seattle is a 1 seed, yet the Steelers are favored. I think the Seahawks have to feel like they are getting no respect. I personally think that Holmgen will outcoach Cowher. Bettis will rush for under 20 yds & Alexander will eclipse 100. Hasselbeck is more elusive than Manning & just leaps & bounds better than Jake the Mistake. The Seahawks have the BEST OL in football, which will neutralize the Steelers blitzes. EVERYONE, YES EVERYONE is going with Pittsburgh. I don't see it that way. Seattle is a better team & Holmgren will have this team ready to tear up Pittsburgh's average secondary. With any time at all, Hasselbeck passes for close to 300 yds.

Seattle 23
Pittsburgh 17

that would be impressive as seattle has given up a total of 5 rushing TDs all season

going from allowing a rushing TD every 3 games to allowing 3 in one game

then again it is in detroit and they will be wearing white so it is obvious that bettis will spend the whole day in the endzone

and bettis is on the cover of the east coast version I believe

seattle has now been on the cover 3 times since december, pending where you live

since there is more population on the east coast I think the jinx will be on their side
