Everyone but Sarver wants a rebuild. Nash is open to being traded. Meeting yesterday at practice and it became obvious chemistry is atrocious now. Vince wants out. The biggest hurdle is Sarver and the fear of losing $$$. The GM wants to make changes too. Suns’ owner would rather be mediocre and making some money rather than rebuild and be competitive. He’s being pressured though. It’s gotten so bad that players have asked not to be traded to the suns in negotiations. No one wants to play with us that bad during the Sarver era. There is no faith in the owner. The word is out.

Nash is likely an offseason trade. Carter maybe before the deadline. Hill may retire a Sun.

Understand one thing. Sarver is not evil. He's in a bad spot. It's easy to criticize him when its not our millions of dollars on the line. If the housing market did not burst like it did. We may not be in this situation.

it's to the point where Nash called people out by name and chastised them. Nothing too physical. Just sour attitudes towards each other. One mild altercation (no fists) but I won't go into details on that.

if it's true, not sure there's anything that could help SUNS this season, even a blockbuter trade.

Just read an article at azcentral with Sarver believing the team can make the POs and that they are not much different than last year's squad at this point in the season. What a joke.

Below is a quote and a link from the article to which you refer written by Paul Coro dated January 27th, 2011:

Sarver looks on the sunny side of the summer moves, feels like this 20-24 team has enough to make the playoffs and likes how the club is positioned for what he openly calls a transition phase.

Sarver noted how this team is not drastically removed from last year's pace (25-19) and has his "fingers crossed" for another turnaround. A year ago Friday, the Suns began a 28-7 close to last season.

"I feel we have the talent to be a playoff team," Sarver said. "We just have to bring it all together and get more consistency."

I want what Sarvar is drinking. If our good nation had the kind of defensive system that the Suns used, we'd be part of China by now.

The big difference between last year and this year is the Suns were like two sides of a coin by this time last season. They would beat a good team then lose to a bad team. They would have these great games followed by stinkers. They showed signs of being great once in a while.

This team is pretty consistently bad. They are losing to both good and bad teams. We have two quality wins against Atlanta and the Lakers. The rest have been complete fools gold.

This team is worse in the paint, worse on defense, worse in rebounding and worse shooting the 3.

Sarver is a fracking idiot for comparing these 2 teams. There is no comparison.

It's 100% time to blow up this team. That is what we get for getting a bunch of "business" guys running this franchise.

This bs just makes me sick. In the old days, at least you could make an argument that people wanted to come here. Now, all of that has been laid to waste by Sarver.

Unfortunately, there are many dark days ahead. We're not making the playoffs. US Airways center will turn into a ghost town. Players no longer look at the Suns as an attractive organization. What an f'n disaster.

Get rid of Vince Carter now! That would be a huge improvent regardless of what comes in return.

Sarver is a stupid, stupid, stupid man with no plan. We get to watch and see what happens when an idiot gets a good ball club. It is quite amazing with how long Phx was considered one of the better teams, we are talking decades.
Not much we can do now, trading Carter makes the team worse (we are that bad).
Sarver is just that dumb. Desperate moves or no moves at all is what I see coming.

Why doesn't he just sell the damn team? He is interested in making money and he will get more than he paid so why not just get the hell out. This guy obviously isn't getting the hint that this franchise is in trouble and he is the problem.

Only about $7 million more. That's just low enough to make an optimist hold on to it.

I figure that if he continues to hold on to the team and run it the way he is, this teams value will drop and he won't see a profit. If he is that greedy I hope the threat of bankruptcy forces his hand.

I dont understand why Sarver doesnt sell the team. He's nit making much $$$ right now cause I see soo many empty chairs at the home games.

The Suns are still a top 10 valuable team according to Forbes so why not just sell this **** and take that $$$ to go build more banks or sumthin.

God I hate Sarver soo bad.

Sarver is not a majority owner of the Suns. He is one of the owners, who has been named Managing Partner.

Why the hell don't they simply name a new Managing Partner from among them and if no one is qualified or wants the responsibility, bring in a new investor with the skills to run the show?

The other partners have invested money as well. Even if that is their only concern (not the team, not the fans, not the community), that should be enough to motivate a change.

If the Chairman of the Board at Sarver's bank screwed up, the rest of the Board of Directors would certainly not take it lying down.

If he sold the Suns and somehow bought the Lakers or the Spurs, do you guys think he can destroy them too?

The self-made entrepreneur embarked on another challenge as the new majority owner of the Phoenix Suns in 2004-05...
Crap! I guess that means that he gets the majority vote in who will preside as Managing Partner. Do the other investors not have input?

Given Sarver's position I think it would be best if we got humiliated the next few games (shouldn't be hard) so maybe Sarver can finally give up on our chances and allow a trade to happen, but it has to be before the deadline comes. It's a race against the clock.

If these reports of Vince Carter being disruptive and not fitting in with teammates are true, the sooner we trade him the better. I guess VC doesn't like being on a losing team and doesn't believe it's worth his effort, although he has no problem picking up the paychecks. I thought that being around players like Nash and Hill who always give their 100% and then some regardless of the situation would rob off on him a little bit, but maybe I gave him too much credit. Then again, maybe those reports are not all that accurate.

Either way, we still have too many wings, and we have Dudley who I believe is ready to step into the staring lineup and contribute should Carter be dealt. And it's not like VC was mr. consistent so far. I'd say trade VC for Troy Murphy, but I don't think the Nets would do that anyway. But if Sarver is adamant about rebuilding the team gradually, then the first step should be to bring in a starter-caliber PF who can help this year and maybe in the long run. Murphy would only be a temporary solution, but there are other options available too.

Of-course everyone has a say but Sarver's a more of a say in it I assume. Or else why would they call him "majority" owner?

If the Suns FO, coaching staff and players believe they can talk themselves into winning they are so wrong. The problem is not just a lack of chemistry but also the lack of talent. Maybe the chemistry can be massaged but not the lack of talent. Even if the Suns beat the Celtics it does not change anything. Why can't Sarver see the Suns no longer have Amare and JRich. I wish Cotton was still around to tell the Suns front office they are not winning because they lack talent like he did so many years ago.

I hate to sound arrogant, but I saw this coming 2 years ago. Sarver ruined everything that was good about the Suns when got his mits on them. Now you see why I dislike the guy.
