Russ your talking about 1 challenge that Ace didn't do well the rest of those fools suck every single time. It doesn't make sense they have been getting rid of people based on their so called alliance despite making the team weaker and weaker, their idiots and deserve to lose. They will be among the first to go if they even make the merge.

Agreed I'm just saying if you keep losing, it makes the argument of keeping strong players for the challenges less enticing. You're losing with the stronger players so why keep them, gang up on them and increase your odds of getting to the merge. Then at the merge its individual immunity and there's less strong players to compete with.

Normally I believe in voting off the weak first, but the've been so bad in the challenges it changes my view, I'd vote off Ace and even Matty because I know if I'm a weak player I can't beat them in individual immunity.

But that just makes them losers Russ. The threat of a merge hasn't been real until now and the have been voting off stronger players than some they have kept until that last vote is what I am saying. Yeah now that the merge is close the game is going to change but they kept losing because they were voting of the stronger players instead of the weak ones that held them back. Its a moot point now that the merge seems iminate, it should be interesting to see how the losers fair for themselves...my guess is not very good. Kenny is a weakling and will lose almost anything physical, and Krystal for a large athletic looking woman is really not in all that good of shape she should have killed at the things involving running but every since the first show she has been terrible at everything. They will be some of the first ones gone IF they even make the merge. Ace needs to be careful because people do view him as a threat thats never good on survivor.

I guess we just disagree. Last week Ace cost them by refusing to be a team player, this week Ace was completely ineffective in the reward challenge(not as bad as Sugar but still pretty bad) but then got to the finals in the individual immunity.

I think they did the exact right thing by voting him off. They have a bad team Sugar is weak, Chrystal has to be the worst former Olympic athlete in history, she could barely stand on the log, and her attitude sucks.

They'll probably get picked off after the merge anyways so I think Sugar made a very smart move in not loaning Ace the idol because he would have had to use it. Now she has it and if they merge next week it buys her a little more time in the game, because she's spent so much time at exile, she really hasn't formed a lot of alliances so she may have a chance to fit in after the merge.

Side not, anybody else dislike Randy as much as I do? In that keepaway contest if I'd been in there I'd have gone after him when he had the ball and planted him as if I was AW and he was Trent Edwards. He's just annoying as hell.

Yeah, that dude is terrible. Last week he said he liked winning most because of the dejected look on the losers faces and this week his favorite part of reward was the other team not having it. Who thinks like that? What a miserable way to be. He is an angry and bitter person.

I think that Kenny's team has recognized that they are not going to win much and are making things easier for themselves at merge by eliminating people that are a threat to win personal immunity. I think that is the right move for that team. If they had eliminated someone weak and won the next couple weeks they still would have been even with the other tribe and ace would probably have flipped anyways.

Totally agree, if you're losing anyways, get rid of the stronger players so at the merge your odds of winning personal immunity are higher.

I'm actually starting to really like Sugar, I loved the way she played it off with Ace you could tell he was concerned he needed the idol but I don't think he ever quite realized that he needed it because Sugar was voting him off.

She did a very good job of making him think he was being paranoid.

Susie's thing was pretty funny too, literally telling another player well I was actually going to vote you off.

It would be comical if they decided to mix it up and not merge for awhile, that team would be screwed they would lose every time. And I argree with you Russ, Krystal has to be the worst former olympic athlete ever she is really not good at anything. Not sure Sugar did herself any favors as no one will believe her now after stabbing the one person that had her back in the back. That whole team except for Matty are so weak they will be picked off right away regardless. The other team obviously planned their vote to flush an idol or get rid of Dan either way they were covered. Randy is just a crappy human being I knew it from the start the guy is a wedding photographer but went on and on about how he thinks marriage is stupid and its just a job. He obviously is a SINGLE crappy miserable guy.

If they don't merge yet and they lose again they will vote Sugar either to get her out or blindside her either way she was kinda dumb to get rid of a strong player that had HER back. I was surprised she didn't even talk to Ace and tell him what the little rat lier Kenny was telling her, just shows how gulable she is to just believe something from someone your not even close to. Although I kinda like her she is not going to last long now.

I think the other team sends Sugar to exile every time because they want to know when the merge happens who has the idol. If you send the same person every time, you know she probably has it. Also they see her as a weaker player so they figured if exile has fruit and stuff, don't send a strong player there send a weak one.

So I figure after the merge(looks like this week) they will probably vote Sugar right away to force her to play the idol.

Boy I could not agree more... Ace actually bugged me more than Randy does. Not to mention I have no idea why everyone acts like Ace is a strong physical player. He single handedly has gotten Fang losses ever since they redid the tribes. He broke two of the balls on one of the last challenges. Not to mention I think, and always thought, his accent was fake. When he failed at the downhill ball rolling challenge he got pissed and miraculously his accent went away for a good two or three sentences.

Now that's funny my girlfriend has been saying the same thing since the show started, his accent is fake.

Blindsided... The worst physical player in this game is becoming a mental giant... I could not stand her before but I am starting to like her game play... What do you think the odds are that she had no cousin that was friends with Marcus?

This it the first season since the KC girl won that I've followed Survivor. While I know it makes the show more interesting to the audience, which keep the ratings, the fact that one team was playing the game so far above the other that it required the producers to interfere not once, but twice sits very poorly with me.

Kenny and Crystal were playing losing strategies and aligning themselves with loser allies that were being eliminated. Now the show has basically given them a do-over and someone who was dominating like Marcus was got hit early just because of the shakeup.

Agree DWKB Marcus got screwed because his team was kicking ass, so the show stepped in AGAIN to try and even things up and he got eliminated because of it. Sucks that if you play too good the show steps in and gives the weak players on the losing team new UNEARNED power to eliminate someone strong. Just kinda lame really losing interest in this season because of all the supposed twists, just say what it is your stepping in because one team sucked so badly they were all going to be eliminated. If ******** Kenny or Krystal win this show I will never watch Survivor again!

The host Jeff Probst says that the twists were scripted prior to the contest starting. He has made mention that he has had a hard time not giving away the twist prior to them implementing them. From day one, he says, the merger banquet was planned during a week that the merger was not going to happen and he said that knowing it, it was hard to think they could not see it in his reactions to some of their comments.

A bunch of behind the scenes stuff here... Interviews with the host, producers, behind the scenes puzzle inventions, etc... You can see in one of the behind the scenes videos that even the challenges are already put together... So it really looks like the twists are already built in, not being done on the fly to screw up the works as they unfold...

BS^ Of course they say they are planned, not like they are going to admit changing it up to make it more compelling instead of the one team kicking the crap out of the other repeatedly.

Did you read through that site... There is mention of the fake merger banquet right after the first episode...

They are good... they predict something that is going to happen weeks before the reason it happens actually happens... :)

I've felt that with Amazing Race(non elimination legs) but I believe it with Survivor. the reason I say that is I've heard Probst interviewed several times and he has said repeatedly one of the things that keeps the show fresh is they constantly make changes so that contestants can't "game" the show. They don't want there to be a formula that you can use to guarantee success in the show because that makes it too predictable.

Russ I have no doubt they had these changes in mind but they can choose when to do them in order to try and even up the game. Don't think that the twists are JUST twists they always seem to be trying to make things fair which in turn always screws someone that is doing well in this case Marcus or Ace! They make it where some of the weak are able to team up and get rid up people that deserve it more that the losers voting them out, its just tiring. Always seeing good players get screwed in Survivor I mean honestly out of all the seasons only a few deserved the money but people are so bitter they should let America vote or something for the winner.

I think you are forgetting that there's nothing that says the "strong" player is supposed to win. this isn' weakest link where the show literally died because people got sick of watching bad players gang up to vote off the good player completely against the intent of the show.

Survivor has outwit, outplay outlast or whatever the mantra is. The game is not just physical, it's mental and social too. There's no question Jeff will "meddle" with the game, he does it all the time at tribal council when he'll call someone out and go out of his way to bring out a conflict or something because it makes for good TV. But I do think in the end, they are not sitting there saying Ace is going to win if we don't stop him somehow. Ace lost because there's a balance between being strong, and being a threat, and eventually Sugar shifted from he's strong, to he's a threat to me, and she swung and voted him off.

Personally that's why the show is still interesting to me, if the best athlete won every time I'd be bored. Hell arguably the best athletes they've had on there were Ozzy and James and neither one of them won, 2 attempts each.
