Good first show. Not sure I like the 3 tribes thing but i'll probably get used to it.

Funny how the guy who went home was convinced he'd played everyone perfectly and then home he went.

Some nice eye candy on the show this year.

Roberta bugs me already but she looks good.

Zane was too funny. Not very bright though.

Hopefully Skupin survives. That guy looks accident prone and seems most likely to be a med-evac for a second time.

I was all set to watch Survivor for the first time in years. ...the, for some unknown reason, my DVR only recorded the first 15 minutes.

If it does it again next week because of a conflict or something I'm probably not going to try to figure it out. I just don't care enough.

yeah I'm sure they will too. What I read was they felt like 2 big tribes are too big at first, they can't show everyone interacting so certain players are "invisible" the first few weeks. True, but how does going to 3 tribes change that it's the same number of people. And a true alliance can be a much bigger factor with 3 tribes because the numbers are smaller, 4 people in an alliance with 3 tribes is huge.

ANd it didn't work we saw Russell about 80% of the show and there's another black guy who we almost never saw. they're still going to do the same thing pick out the storlylines and show those people.

Love the layout of the Caramoan Islands though that's nothing like the Philippines I've seen the coastline and actual fish in the water.

Also, why does she never mention she was a Mouseketeer before on Facts of Life? sad to hear her say she blew all her money too, between those 2 shows she was probably working as an actress for 6-8 years.

I wonder if Zane hadnt of said he wanted to go home if they wouldve voted out Russle before him. Horrble move probably one of the worst moves in any game show ever if that was his strategy or he really wanted to go home i dont know.

Side note I googled Lisa Whelchel and the first site I came to estimates her net worth at 3 million. Either that site is wrong, or she's lying to Mike Scupin so he won't tell the others she doesn't need the money.

I get keep the money to herself same reason Jeff Kent isn't telling people who he is.

What I don't get is you read articles and she'll talk about Facts of Life but never says Mickey Mouse Club which was her first break. The producers of FOL saw her on MM, that's where she was discovered.

I'm just curious if there is some bad blood there or something why she never mentions them.

Another good episode with a classic talk yourself off the island ending.

love the comment from the older woman about the guy and Angie with the fake boobs "don't be blinded by the headlights".

Then Roxy basically talks herself out by trying to get Angie booted saying it's a trap Jeff a real booby trap. trying to say they were a pair and that's dangerous and then she gets voted out by every member of her tribe.

Survivor is still great tv they really have the thing down to a T.

Roxie was stupid about commenting on how everyone wants to work around camp after the challenges. I think that attitude sealed her demise.
