Its weird.. This season I am having a hard time picking who to root for.. normally this is not an issue, and its not as though the show is boring or unwatchable.. I just am struggling to find anyone to root for or even root against..

Not too many villains (If any) this season either IMO...

I find myself rooting for Penner for some reason. Not sure why.

Also I find myself hoping the Brazillain chick gets booted off. That chick is completely clueless and doesn't deserve to win. Although if you are smart that is the type of person you want to bring to the end with you.

Yep don't like her at all.

I would like either Malcolm or Denise to win, both seem to be very smart people and very likable.

I'm ok with Penner too. Can't stand the Brazilian, you can tell Jeff Probst doesn't like her either, she sits out almost every contest and Jeff always says "again, how many have you NOT sat out?" He's clearly calling her out for skating by.

The guy that fell in the fire is back this season.

Actually the show has little to do with "surviving" and is pretty much a social game.

I know, its evolved into the island version of Big Brother.

I remember the 1st 2 seasons actually were somewhat 'survivorish'. People actually were scavenging for food and stuff and lost a bunch of weight. They didnt know how to build shelter.

Unlike now where the contestants have been watching 30 seasons so they know what they are supposed to do. The 1st 2 seasons, the people had to learn asthey went. There was no blueprint yet.

The beauty of Survivor is just when it looks like it's getting stale, they mix things up and make it new again. I hope the next thing will be no more returning players just new ones.

this years cast has had issues but I think one of the big problems was the one tribe lost every time so they were constantly showing them preparing for tribal. As a result the other 2 tribes were featured less on camera. Usually by now you have better definition of how each person is, we don't know that this year with some of them because they just have had so little air time.

One of the best tribal councils ever. 2 players showed they had a hidden immunity idol, and then neither one of them actually played it, and both survived. You had multiple players openly discussing how people should vote and what alliances there were and Penner even proposed, in front of Jeff Probst a 6 person voting alliance on the spot. Jeff was laughing because it was so funny watching it all.

Very funny, I'm more and more impressed with Lisa she had one of those situations where she told about Malcolm's hidden idol, stupidly the person she told goes right to Malcolm and tells him, and she still managed to come out of it looking smart and like a good player.

I suspect Abi's big mouth finally got her in trouble after she accidentally admitted at tribal that Malcolm isn't really as big a part of their alliance as he thinks he is, and Lisa immediately called her on it and Malcolm immediately grasped what had happened.

Great episode.

Great Tribal, Glad that Kent is gone.

And screw him for being such a right-wing extremist he had to take a shot at the President

Well it is true they have to pay tax on it but I guess it probably was a shot at Obama. To be honest when he said it I thought he was making a Richard Hatch joke.

I just liked his honesty, I made 60 million plus in baseball and I freaking want this 1 million. I liked that the game meant something to him but he did outsmart himself with his vote against Penner stuff.

If he had said "The Government" it would have been different, IMHO - I guess plus the knowledge that he really is a far right winger made me look at it differently.

What I thought was REALLY interesting, I don't know if you guys noticed this.. but the vote was 5-Kent, 4-Pete, 1-Abbi...

The one vote for Abbi was Penner!

I don't understand that vote at all! He would have created a tie had he voted for Pete like the other old guy, or if he wanted Jeff out why not just vote Jeff...

I don't understand the Abby vote when it was clearly so close and split, and seemed like the rest of his backers (Lisa and the other crazy old guy) voted pete...

Very strange to me..

Yeah that is weird. When I saw the end I missed his vote so I didn't realize he was the one who voted for Abbi. Maybe it was a message to her that we're on to you but who knows.

The only thing I can think of is he somehow thinks he can get to the final three and that was something he could say to Jeff, "Hey I did not vote for you".. for a jury vote...other than that it makes very little sense...

Maybe it was to scare her into using her Idol next time.

Another great episode and you really have to wonder how much longer Lisa continues to be loyal when it's so clear she despises the people she's being loyal to?

That Abi is unreal, one of the most unlikable people ever on Survivor.

Abi is so funny to watch - she is so annoying, but her facial expessions are priceless

I despise Abi. I hope she gets booted next week without using the idol. She will go down as one of the most unlikeable players in Survivor history. I couldn't imagine working with her.

I can't tell if Jeff hates her or likes her. He's constantly calling her out for sitting out challenges when they were teams. last night he made a point of calling her out because nobody picked her.

I think he's trying to, while maintaining some fairness, point out to everyone else there what is wrong with you people vote her off.

I think it's pretty clear that you couldn't pick a better person to get to the finals with because even her allies hate her.

I like Lisa more and more each week I think I would have thrown something at Abi if she had talked to me like she talked to Lisa, but she just turns the other cheek smiles and lets Abi bury herself more.

And then to say Lisa is too naive to play the game, she's not the one who admitted at the previous tribal that Malcolm wasn't really part of the alliance like he thought he was and then when called on it, backtracked and said he was.

I started off not liking this season much but now I love it.

Sure looks like it's obvious none of the remaining players likes Abi at all, and none of them want to vote her out because they all believe they can beat her at the end.

Could be a fascinating final vote but my guess is if Abi got that far she'd talk herself out of any remote chance of winning.

I'm pulling for Malcolm or Denise still although Lisa is growing on me.

Finale on Sunday, Malcolm, Denise, Lisa and Skupin are left.

I'm actually fine with any of them winning it's very unusual to have 4 likable players left.

Agreed.

Would prefer Lisa not to win, just because she doesn't need the money.

I used to dislike her immensely, she has grown on me. Will hold judgement until we see if this experience has made her a better person in real life.

She said something on the show about most of her money being gone but I wasn't sure if she was just saying that so as to not be a target or not.

She's definitely got her flaws but she has grown on me too.

I really like malcolm and denise. Skupin is likable too and I think he's played a very good game considering as a returning player he had a target from day 1.

I think they should make the finale an extra hour long and just use that hour to let Abi ask her question on the jury.

Does anyone know who Lisa really is?

Skupin is the only one who knows that's left. Penner knows.

It'll be interesting if it comes up during the final questions with the jury if she makes it to that point.

I would love to see the faces if they found out that way.
