Solomon Wilcox from NFL Network and the host. (Think it was the Hugh or Huge show) CBS maybe....That Steelers are definately trying to deal him and that the Cards would be the logical and the desired location. Sounded like talks have occured but nothing set in stone.

I call baloney, but if its true, would Skelton be part of the trade?

Maybe Matty gets traded for a CB? I second your baloney call, Whiz and Dirty Ben did not see eye to eye in PIT and because of a) the 6 game suspension & b) Bidwill's being a community oriented ownership team I don't see us bringing in Roethlisberger.

He's giving a statement on his suspension tomorrow. I'm assuming he'll go all "mea culpa" on us and promise us he's going to be a good boy from now on. And I, for one, will not be buying it. He's got a long way to go until he is in any way "rehabilitated".

Do not want him on my team.

Campos, this is another attempt from you to make something out of nothing and honestly, the redundancy is getting on my nerves.

All of your threads have been about getting a potentially available QB to come to AZ when all of it is just conjecture from talking heads who think we have a QB problem. We have 4 QBs on the roster and no room for a 5th with a gargantuan contract . Roethlisberger is an absolute liability off the field and is one mistake away from a one year suspension. Plus, the Cards dont take on guys like him.

Here is your 2010 starting QB

For all the flak that Matt gets about his personal life at least all the girls he's hooked up with said, "yes."

There's no way the Bidwills would ever bring in a guy with Roethlisberger's history and on top of the he and Whisenhunt didn't have a great working relationship.

All the flack that Leinart has gotten for his personal life is nosense. He has dated a couple of high profile blondes and had a party at his house with a friend. So what?

Lets see what he can do on the field when given a full season.

Whisenhunt didn't have a great working relationship.

I have no doubt Whis would swallow his pride and work with BR if it came to that, but Whis was never the problem. BR was the one who got bitchy when the media ran with a mild Whis quote taking partial credit for BR's development. BR's response was (paraphrased), "It was all me. No one else."

People who push this rumor forget about this.

That said, if he could be had for a bag of chips, I think the smart football decision is to inquire. I think that's what the Cards did. Apparently the Steelers haven't lost their minds and aren't giving away SB winning QBs for nothing.

Not that I want BR in this town, but I think that's the way it went down.

If so, it would/should have been part of the McFadden deal this past weekend.

Exactly right... have never seen a smaller molehill turned into a bigger mountain...

He had a freaking party with some chicks and suddenly he is not focused on football.

The whole country has bought into it while Matt has behaved like a model citizen off the field and been extremely professional handling his loss of a starting Job to a HOF QB.

He deserves his shot and if he fails at least he did it the right way...
