Ummm, ya, I'm gonna pass on the scrapple. :p
Just smother it with butter and KARO syrup! Seriously, that' s how we ate it a home growing up.

I normally wouldn't touch the stuff or chorizo either, for that matter. But in my hometown in PA there was a little Mom and Pop butcher shop that made their own scrapple that was quite good.

They also made Liver sausage! I absolutely hate liver; won't touch it; but whatever they did to make that stuff - it's way good.

Ever had Liver sausage, Jersey?

You're not that far from us (usually). If you hear an 18 minute version of Truckin' about 5 times in a row, that's us.

awesome.

seriously folks, put an ASFN sign up to let us know where and who you are!

Nope. Never had it that I know of, though my parents were notorious for giving me and my siblings mystery meat that they always called something else. My dad once caught a 68 pound drum fish and my parents tried to pass that crap off to us as chicken numerous times, but I never bought it.

No wonder I'm a vegetarian. :p

Ya know, when I came out for my first ASFN tailgate at SDS, there was a map that nidan (I think) created showing approximately where everyone was. I printed it out and I know that some people laughed at me for it (you know who you are!), but I found so many people that day and had an absolute blast!

Any way we could do something like that for Sunday? Maybe include some cell phone numbers?

Dunno, but I loves me some S.O.S. (if you're talking cream chipped beef on toast)

Yup! Yup!

Didn't know that was the slang for it til I worked at a Jersey diner. Imagine my surprise when an older gentleman ordered "**** on a shingle." I had no idea what he was talking about, lol.

We'll have one. I'll get on it.

I can get some red butcher paper if you want it. Not sure when/if we'll see each other before the game, but I will be at the BRR tomorrow. Supposed to be a great time. Budweiser is bringing out the clydesdales from what I heard.

You guys should check it out and bring the kids! (Lots of kids are always there.)

a tailgaiting map would just be awesome.

someone else do it. I'm too busy hyperventaliting and keeping myself from tearing up in anticipation of the game.

BTW, where has Assface been? He hasn't posted much lately, which is disappointing since he 1. now lives in AZ and 2. well, it's just disappointing.

I would do it, but I don't know how.

I'll PM nidan and tell him to get on it. :)

You going to Westgate Saturday? I'll be there...I'll talk to Nick about BRR...that would be fun.

lol...that's how my folks have ALWAYS referred to it! (my grandparents grew up in Buffalo...about as poor as they come, so I guess if there's a classy way of saying something, and a poor white (don't want to say trash) way of saying it, they knew the poor way!)

He came over for the Panthers game...he's been working nights, so I would guess he's sleeping during the day. He's doing good, though.

Yeah, I know he's been working nights ... in my neck of the woods, actually. Still shouldn't interfere with him posting. :)

It's an air force thing, from what I know. Or all military maybe. But my dad always talked about ish on a shingle. And it is GREAT by the way. Holy crap, I haven't had ish on a shingle since I was 18. That's what they called it though, when served it in the military way back when (my dad went in service in 44 and put 21 years in the service).

I like the sign idea, I'll put one out in front of our party on the great lawn (Orange lot). We usually part on the south west side of the lawn (think the first side you pull up to, closer to the 101.

We won tailgater of the week at one point in time last year so be sure to look for the tailgater pop up the Card's gave us, oh and the 2 foot tall speakers, the 5 foot long grill, and 20 drunks. Wait, I don't think that differentiates us much...
