Certainly was no masterpiece, but I enjoyed it immensely. Part of that may be because I love Guillermo Del Toro's work, but there was some humanity within all the special effects (and there were A LOT).

Did you like the movie?

Yeah, I did. Quite a bit. They nailed Hellboy (the character), especially physically. Seemed like they got his "dimensions" just right, and Pearlman played him to a "T."

My only fanboy beef with it is the urban setting they had through most of the first 3/4 of the flick. Hellboy usually is trapsing around some foggy marsh or something, and when he meets people, they usually know about him and are happy to see him. It's a very small beef, hardly worth mentioning. It was a durn good flick.

Recently watched it. I'm not a comic book reader, but I still enjoy watching these shows. I liked it okay, he's a very likable character.
