Every time I turn around this dude is on TV, and I'm friggin done already. It aint the religion thing, I go to church (not as often as I should). Dude lays an egg for the first 3 quarters and then lights it up? What happens when his defense doesn't keep it close for that to happen? Do people really think he will be successful for years to come? So tired of hearing about this dude, I am not a Patriots fan and I know their defense sucks...but I hope Tebollocks gets embarrassed soon, this is getting ridiculous.

I'm loving it lol. When's the last time we've had a great role model like this? Usually the news is sad. I'm actually enjoying this while it lasts. That's my TeBro!

I love it, only because it's totally hilarious, and it's making half of the NFL fanbase rabidly angry. It's like he's trolling everyone in the NFL, and the hype is a ton of fun.

I might hate him if he'd beaten us in this streak of his.

I like the guy. Hate both sides of the hype. Meh about the player.

It's a bit much to blame Tebow for the attention others give him. Early on, almost all of the attention was beyond negative and now it's mostly positive but he's not responsible for either group. I think the guy is fun to watch when the game is on the line and he is showing improvement. I'm not sure why all the experts we're expecting him to be a finished product but he's showing he belongs in this league.

I happily don't watch too much TV, or listen to the radio at all, so I am not driven crazy by media explosions like this.

Personally, I love the Tebow story, and what he has done this year.

As for Tebow ? I don't think he will ever be an NFL QB, unless a team like the Broncos or 2000's Ravens picks him up.

The Broncos are a really good team outside of the Tebow factor, or their offense.

I look at Tebow to be Trent Dilfer 2.0. Like Trent, he manages the offense, and tries not to make too many mistakes to hurt the team. Yet, the upgrade over Dilfer is obviously, his uncanny ability to use the force, and will his team to victory.

I'll be keeping one eye on that Pats game that is for sure.

The Tebow "hype" falls squarely on a large segment of the fan base. I'm fairly certain it is due to his religous beliefs but it could be more than that.

It is somewhat similar to the Farve "hype" as well. What I mean by that is there is always polling going on and ratings are measured constantly. The media spends time on topics that gets them the most viewers etc.

Listen carefully to any NFL broadcast crew and they will bring Tebow up at some point no matter who is playing. The way some of them do it you can tell that they are told they have to talk about Tebow at some point(s) during their telecast. They are given this directive from the executive level because Tebow drives ratings and interest from a large segment of fans.

I voted the jury is still out because if Tebow does't continue to improve as a passer then NFL D's will catch up on how to defend him. He has done an amazing job so far in willing his team to victory so it will be interesting to see how this progresses

Are you kidding me? I love it.

One, it is bringing life and energy to a franchise outside the big east coast media darlings.

Two, it a geniune good-guy showing up the NFL establishment (and John Elway) with something new and different. I love the pained expression on Elway's face everytime Tebow does his thing.

Three, I hope Tebow and the Broncos rain on Belicheat's parade this Sunday.

Here's a nice guy doing well despite predictions that he can't. So he thanks Jesus, what do I care? He's a fun football player to watch--and this is coming from a guy who hates the Broncos.

I think people that are hating on him need to seriously ask themselves why. Is it the religious thing? He's not asking YOU to convert. He's just saying some words. Is it the media hype? Fine, but that's not HIS doing.

I don't understand statements like this.

A) He IS an NFL QB. A successful one so far.
B) A team "like the Broncos" did pick him up.

Totally agree.

I love the fact that everyone had him on a bus home during pre-season and have since had to eat a little crow. Seems he CAN hit the broad side of a barn after all.

Ditto.

Good for Tebow. Yeah, he's getting a ton of attention, but so what?

I'm all over the place on this one. First I really don't like the run first type of QB play, I much prefer the Warner, Rodgers pick you apart precision passing. That's my style preference.

But a W is a W, and you have to give him props in that regard. Do I think his style wins a championship (even an AFC championship)? No. So on this front I get irked with all the attention.

With that being said you have to admire his knack for not being pulled into controversy regarding the B.S. being thrown his way from critics and players mocking him. As someone else mentioned he's not asking for the attention.

Just wondering, didn't Kurt get some of the same scrutiny regarding his devotion while he was on top? Seems like he did too, just not to this extreme.

I hate him because he plays for the Denver Fing Broncos.. And I am tired of seeing him and that stupid horse on the side of his helmet everyday on tv.. But I can deal with it for now.. Just as the NFL figured out the Wildcat offense, they too, will figure out a way to stop Tebow.. Then all will be right with the world again..

Great human being, but not a great QB or ever will be. He is really not much better than Skelton to me and I would take Skelton over him

Agreed on both points.

"He IS an NFL QB" <---- Agreed. Bad wording. Tebow is not going to "Peyton Manning/Drew Brees/Aaron Rogers" another team to death with an unstoppable aerial assault. May be in the future but Tebow has a lot of developing to do, in order to get to that level. A "NFL" QB is labeled as a QB that can run a convential pass offense, and there is no doubting Tebow is NOT conventional. Not even close.

In order for Tebow to succeed he needs a top of the line defense, a good/great running attack, and an exception kicker in the clutch.

He has those things right now with the Broncos, but would a team go out of its way to center an NFL team around Tebow ?

The Broncos certainly did NOT make offseason moves to center this team around Tim Tebow, they just lucked their butts off that everything came together perfectly. Now the challenge to a team like the Broncos is to keep it that way.

We will see. This week is the ultimate test. If the Patriots are up by 3 scores with 2 minutes left in the game, then all the magic in the world is not going help the Broncos win, IMO.

I don't think Tebow is clammoring for the spotlight and the endless interviews... As always, the media itself is creating the monster... if it were up to Tebow, there would be no microphones and cameras. Just work hard and lay it all out on the field.
Virtually all of the "experts" in the media predicted Tebow would never enjoy success in the NFL. Now, they don't have any choice but to make excuse after excuse after excuse, attempting to explain that they weren't really wrong about Tebow, it's just that the guy is fortunate to play on a team with a great defense, or, that they really haven't played any top-quality teams during his run, or this or that...

As for me - I have nothing but mad respect for the kid. He's simply a person with strong beliefs which infuses immense confidence within him. As Trent Dilfer so aptly said recently, "what's so amazing about Tebow is that just about every other QB who plays so poorly, so consistently, would eventually succumb to "reality". Reality being that I guess everyone was right about me and that I'm just not good enough. Yet, Tebow never stops. He never stops working. Never stops trying. And never stops believing that he is good enough and that he can pull it out in the end".

Rock on Tebow!!

I don't see that. Tebow is making throws now that he couldn't have made earlier in the season. You can see improvement in the guy almost every week and I think it's premature to say that this is all he'll ever be. IMO, he passed Skelton by several weeks ago and the gap widens every week. I don't know if he'll ever be a great QB but I'm not going to bet against the guy.

I know... I haven't heard this much commotion over a white bronco since the OJ Simpson story!

Hey now! :D
