If he loses to one of the best football teams in the NFL on Sunday, he's a fraud, right? ...right??

Agreed.

If they lose he is not a fraud. But if the Patriots score a bunch of points at the beginning of the game and put it out of the reach of Tebow's Jedi mind tricks, then ...... well, I guess then the Patriots are a team that is good enough not to be caught in the Broncos game plan.

You would think every teams game plan should be to put the game out of reach early. Minnesota tried, but.......

I dunno. Go find some flippin' Sith lord to QB the Cowboys, or something and try that out.

Yeah, as an aside, it's amazing how that offense keeps transforming itself to suit the talents of the roster. That 2-TE formation is SO difficult to defend with Gronk and Hernandez.

They have been running that same offense for years. Which is basically the old run and shoot with 2 TE's instead of 4 WR's.

The difference is that this year thier TE's are awesome, but the point being that this offense that the Pats run is nothing new. Actually it is the same they have been running for over a decade.

I like him.

I like how he defends his faith before the media. For me personally being a Christian is important.

Like I said, it aint the Religion thing (his faith is cool with me), it's the crappy play for most of the game thing, I don't think it will last. Maybe God does play a part in all this, maybe he is with Lebron James the first three quarters, and then leaves Bron-bron and goes and helps out Tebow in the fourth. :p

Watch a game and you might change your mind. His play isn't that bad in the first three Q's. It's his leadership in the 4th that gets everyone else around him to step it up.

I aint gonna lie to kick it, I've only watched 3 of the games. Homie was tossing ducks out there when the opposing defense basically played Tebow like they do Vick. Just designate one guy to sit and cover Tebow (with out rushing in and letting him scramble) while the backfield stays committed to their assignments. All 3 games Tebow did eventually beat this type of coverage, and I still don't know why the defenses play him differently in the fourth, it's all pretty amazing, but I don't think it will fly for a long period.

He's made some bad throws... but, aside from Brady and Rogers, who doesn't??

The "bad play in the first 3 quarters" meme is being way over-hyped by media "experts" who are desperately searching for ways to prove themselves right... "Look at how BAD he is in the first 3 quarters!!!" "See, I was right! He's not a NFL caliber QB!".... pathetic really...

3 bad quarters to one good one means he has to depend on the defense, miracle FGs, missed FGs by the other team, it happens a different way every week, but ends in the same result. Some of it's luck, some of it's Defense, some of it's Tebow, they are winning. The media is killing me with this guy. Guess we just have to wait and see, I don't wish him any bad though, and nobody cares if my hippie ass is right or wrong. :D

I watched the games and personally think it is a very terrible brand of football. They are incredibly boring and it is a lot of special teams play. The only game that was somewhat entertaining was the Vikings game, but those passes to wide open guys were just floating or wobbling in there. It just reminds me of Friday night football.

I don't hate Tebow, but I am quite sick of hearing about how he has the hand of God. I think it is very un-Christian to even think that God would care about a game. But, so are holy wars so what do I know.

I got no problem with Tebow "Paytoning". Walter Payton was and still is my favorite player of all times. He'd kneel and give it up to the Lord after each and every score, one of the reasons why I followed him. My fourth quarter joke was just to squeeze in some Lebron bashing.:D

I pray for the Cardinals during games. (Granted, my first prayer is a plea I don't have a heart attack when the game is close.)

I figure SOMEBODY out there is praying for the opposition so I like to even things out. :)

Now I just heard Tebow claims have a direct line to God, and he directly talks to Him.. Ok.. Chalk that to another reason to not like this guy.. This guy is a certified lunatic..

Oh and all his followers that only follow him because he believes in God are getting out of hand.. I wont even go into what people have told me about this..

This is all getting out of hand.. Way over the top..

And I believe in God..

Hey now! :D
:confession:
I totally stole this when I went to work today, the UPS driver and I go back and forth about football everyday, this one killed. :)

Good, now maybe everyone will stop talking about him ALL THE TIME in the media. My first concern is the Cardinals in the playoffs. Next, the Broncos out of them.

I thought he played well. Made mistakes, but he looked liked he belonged.

He's never going to win a championship unless he gets better at throwing the ball.

You can say whatever you want about him but that is the way it's going to be.

He does belong, he's a winner too, however the running thing is not going to get it done, it just will not do it, not all by itself, he's going to have to beat people with his arm.

He's going to get hurt over any normal season running that much on top of the fact he's going to run into a defense in the playoffs that is going to force him to pass the ball to win.

He can probably win a lot but he isn't going to go all the way unless he learns to also pass out of the pocket.

He didn't have a bad game, he didn't have a defense to lean on when playing against Brady, he's there best option at QB right now. But gimmics don't win rings.

A) He is getting better at throwing the ball. His delivery is still F'd up--it takes WAY too long. But he delivers the ball pretty well already.

B) The guy has just as good of a chance at winning a ring with his skill set as 80% of the QBs in the NFL. (K9, I just pulled that percentage out of my rear, don't roast me for it--you get the point).

IMO, the most important characteristic of an NFL QB--and one that is really hard to find--is a guy that can say "We're winning this thing. Follow me." ...and then have people do it. Tebow has that in spades.
