Anyone else surprised the Cards haven't shown more interest in Tim Wright. He looked good in the Red Zone last year.

I'm actually more concerned that the Cards can't defend TEs.

No, we don't use our TEs like NE does. Like, actually throwing them passes and stuff. :)

Seriously though, he is more of a H Back type of build. At 220, he doesn't have the bulk Arians seems to want in his TEs.

Didnt put a claim in on him even though TB got him

makes you think two things ( I guess);

1. They really liked how the guys they have looked in mini camp
2. They have a specific "day before camp starts" vet in mind

It's rare when I don't agree with one of your posts. This isn't an exception to that rule.

Ha.

I like to think they have their eye on someone, but my totally unsubstantiated belief is that they think they are good with who they have-- based purely on all the happy talk coming out of camp.

I think the Cards are interested in TE Jermaine Gresham. Problem is he is recovering from a back injury which I believe required surgery. He would be a good fit for BAs offense.

I don't think it is always published who tried to claim a waiver.

We usually only hear of failed waiver claims when the press or the team comments on it. So it's possible the Cardinals did put in a claim, but we didn't hear about it. Tampa has #1 priority on claims.

I think SK has in eye on someone and won't hesitate to bring in more competition, it's what he does.
