His prior seasons are why this is such a leap of improvement.
I understand, but it’s still not overly impressive. It’s not like Jared Goff making a monumental leap pre and post McVay in his first year with him.

The local guys had someone who knows Kafka well on the air the other day and he said he was shocked that he was even being considered for any head coaching positions. Said he has done a good job in the short time he has been in New York but questioned his presence in a locker room as a head coach. Said he did not feel he was a "leader of men."

So he is probably our guy.

Was this they guy? If so, this guy didn't know there are ties in football.

Kafka got:

2 Interviews in AZ
2 Interviews in Houston (Only candidate outside of Ryans to get 2 interviews)
1 Interview in Carolina
1 Interview in Indianapolis

He's actually one of the few to get 2 interviews with multiple teams.
gotta get that narrative started... the man had options, and he chose to wait for the Cardinals job..those are the facts

This so called "leader of men" term is BS. The majority of NFL head choices came up through the ranks as OCs or DCs. Good coaches grown in the HC position. Strong personality's don't necessary become winning coaches. I have no idea of Kafka will be a good head coach but he has learned from one of the best in Andy Reid.

John Harbaugh-- 8 years
Sean McDermott--11 years
Matt Nagy--8 years
Doug Pederson--6 years
Ron Rivera---4 years
Pat Shurmur---9 years

These are current and former NFL Head coaches....and the number of years they spent learning from Andy Reid.....so, how about
Mike Kafka---5 years
