Tee Higgins has secured his long-term future in Cincinnati, agreeing to a four-year, $115 million contract extension with the Bengals, per FOX’s Jordan Schultz. The deal reportedly includes incentives that could push his earnings beyond $30 million per year, making him one of the top five highest-paid receivers in the NFL.

Higgins had been placed on a second franchise tag recently, with reports of an extension looming. Now, he remains a crucial part of the Bengals’ offensive core alongside Ja’Marr Chase, who is under contract for five more years at $182.8 million, and quarterback Joe Burrow, who signed a $275 million deal in 2023.

Higgins has remained a significant contributor despite missing time due to injuries over the past two seasons. In 2023, he posted 73 receptions for 911 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns, ranking among the league’s top red-zone threats.

Over his five-year career, the former Clemson standout has totaled 330 catches, 4,595 yards, and 34 touchdowns, solidifying his status as one of the league’s premier receivers. Originally a second-round pick in 2020, Higgins continues to be a vital piece of Cincinnati’s offense.

Higgins and Chase will look to prove why they are worth as much as they got.
