A Michael Bay TMNT? PASS!

He is just producing, so it may not be a true "Michael Bay" film. Of course, he wanted to change their origin story to make them aliens (he later recanted), so this still has train-wreck written all over it.

I don't care who is doing it. I'll see it like I've seen all the others...

I thought the animated movie a few years back was pretty good...

The design of this movie is good. I like how each turtle would be identifiable even without their trademark coloring. Raphael especially looks like a freaking beast.

Micheal Bay takes a lot of crap but, if you're willing to just turn your brain off, his movies are fairly entertaining.

I did see the ooze and the whole we were trying to create heroes gives me hope I had heard Bay had turned them into aliens from space.

I'll watch it

They reference aliens in the trailer. Megan Fix says the alien theory is "stupid ". So meta! Yawn...

It should be clear that this is NOT directed by Michael Bay. He just produced it.

Good point, I'll edit the title. Bay is all you hear about, but the directoir is actually Jonathan Liebesman. He previously directed Wrath of the Titans, Battle Los Angeles, The Killing Room, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, and Darkness Falls.

I'm not sure that makes it much better. LOL
