Houston signed Stacey Mack for 1 year and 700k. What a deal. He is very underrated and will turn some heads this year.

Yeah I'm utterly amazed they got him that cheaply I honestly hope he just has a great year and gets himself a big raise I really love the way the kid plays. If not for Shipp(and now Emmitt) I would have loved to get Mack here but with no expectation of him being that cheap.

Great short yardage runner and basically a very underrated player.

Those of you that play fantasy football keep his name in mind he gets lots of TD's and should get carries in Houston. If the OL improves he could be a steal.

I think you will either see Houston trade down and draft an offensive lineman, or go with Andre Johnson at #3. They could also trade with Cinci, and draft Charles Rogers.

He seems to have caught Fred Taylo's injury bug. Mack always seemed to have the nagging ones. Hopefully he an stay healthy this year. Good bargain shopping by the Texans at a need position.

At least you covered all the bases! Either they move down, stay put or move up. ;)

This goes back to my theory of the Cards should either use the pick or don't use the pick.

He played in all 16 games the last 2 years. He may have had some nagging injuries but he did play.

If you look at his picture on NFL.com it just validates my theory about naming a kid. You name a boy Stacey when his last name is Mack and you know you're going to get a kid who's tough as nails and looks like a Mack truck. You get teased as a kid about your name and you wind up 6'1" 238 as an adult.

Had him both years and he spent a LOT of time in the questionabl column... ankles, knees and hammies..... I'm sure he was healthy enough for the short yardage carries, but now you are talking about being a starting back.

Also watch out for guys named Kelly and Leslie. They've been whoopin butt their entire lives.

I had him too, I didn't notice the listings but you may be right. My problem was he'd play great and then Taylor would come back and no carries for Mack.

He is a punishing runner and gets hit a lot so wouldn't surprise me if he got dinged alot. I looked at KFFL and they did show one questionable with an ankle but I don't think it was comprehensive.

I still am amazed at the contract I think it's a steal.
