Texas A&M baseball took care of Houston Christian Tuesday night, snapping a three-game skid and evening its record to 12-12. Next up for the Aggies is the Kentucky Wildcats, as A&M looks to snap another, more ominous losing streak.

The Aggies have started conference play 0-6, with two straight sweeps. They fell to Alabama at home, Vanderbilt on the road and have continued to struggle offensively.

A&M has had quality starting pitching, with Friday's starter Ryan Prager, alongside Justin Lamkin and Myles Patton, combining for an impressive 2.36 ERA through 18 appearances. However, the Aggies are last in the SEC in offense, batting .258 on the season.

In comes a Kentucky squad that has struggled in conference (2-4) but has a more palatable 15-8 overall record.

The Wildcats are led by senior left fielder Cole Hage, who is batting .370 with six home runs and 18 RBIs. Senior pitcher Nic McCay leads the way on the mound, tallying a 3-0 record along with a 2.20 ERA.
