Former Texas Longhorns receiver Isaiah Bond will have to wait a little longer to make an NFL roster despite being projected as a first-round pick.
Bond was not selected in the 2025 NFL Draft and has yet to be signed by a team. This year's draft was held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the home of the Green Bay Packers.
He played in 14 games for the Longhorns, with 12 starts. The only games he missed due to injury were against the Vanderbilt Commodores (undisclosed) and Clemson Tigers (ankle).
Bond finished third on the team in receiving yards with 540 and had four touchdowns. The only players with more than Bond were tight end Gunnar Helm (786) and receiver Matthew Golden (987).

Before the draft, Bond turned himself in to Frisco, Texas, police on sexual assault allegations, for which he had an outstanding warrant. He posted a $25,000 bond and was released from custody.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Bond has since filed a lawsuit against the person who accused him.
Bond spent two seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide before joining Texas in 2024. He played in 27 games, 12 starts, and accounted for 888 receiving yards and five touchdowns with Alabama.
Bond was responsible for the touchdown that lifted Alabama over the Auburn Tigers in the 2023 Iron Bowl. Quarterback Jalen Milroe threw a pass to the back of the endzone on 4th and 31, and Bond made the improbable catch.
The star receiver was a highly touted recruit out of high school. Bond was a four-star receiver in the 2022 class from Buford, Georgia. When he left Alabama for the transfer portal, he was the No. 2 receiver in the On3 Transfer Portal Industry Rankings.
Other Texas players who were not drafted include center Jake Majors, receiver Silas Bolden, defensive back Gavin Holmes, linebacker David Gbenda and defensive lineman Bill Norton.
