We all endured a miserable 2018 but appreciate you giving us a few gifts.

  • #1 pick
  • The ability to hire Kliff Kingsbury
  • The appreciation of a 3-4 defense
  • The opportunity to bring in a real NFL staff
  • A nice learning lesson for MB
These changes have re-energized the fan base and the players, so we thank you.

I hate his guts for what he did to the fanbase. I listened to the Michael B interview and it sounds like Wilks didn’t fulfill the promises he made when hired. Michael B was already irritated after week 2 and was clearly very upset when the issue of Bucannon came up.

Aren't you just a ray of sunshine. Cracks me up that you hate his guts. Classy.

I’m not familiar enough with his guts to hate them, but he sure was one of the most inept coaches I have ever seen in the nfl.

As well as stubborn. He put the players through a miserable season, often deflected responsibility (ie “can’t coach effort” and “players need to execute” his “perfect plan”). He also embarrassed the whole franchise and made our owner look bad. He should be ashamed of his performance

When Kliff Kingsbury, Nick Bosa and DJ Swearinger end up in the HOF there will be a Wilks statue outside SFS.

when somebody not ready for a job, botches the job

blame the person who hired him.

I got the sense from the Bidwill interview that Wilks did not follow through with what he told them he was going to when interviewed and was then boarderline insubordinate when asked by Michael B about it. I’d take Bidwill’s word for it

I don't care what lip service some of the players put out there at the end of the season, this team quit playing after about week 12. It was obvious. If a team quite on a coach, you simply cannot keep that coach. I don't care if it's Vince Lombardi.

Was playing solitaire with a deck of 51. But he did nothing to prove he belong doing what he was doing.

No, read what he said about the 3-4 when he was hired, and what he did after he was hired. It is on Wilks.

Exactly. You deserve no sympathy when you lie to a potential employer about your intentions. Michael Bidwill has not given me any reason to think that he is incompetent or dishonest. Wilks is not to blame for the offenseive disaster. He is just incompetent. But I believe he was dishonest and incompetent in his handling of the defense.

You must be part of the crew who thinks Keim should get a pass on the mess he’s built.

Keim is not getting a pass. Anyone who has watched his body language during the second half of the season could see it. There are financial implications to firing an entire staff and a GM and cutting massive checks. Bidwill doesn’t have a magic bottomless bank account to draw from. He did the best he could under the circumstances. I am guessing he would fire Keim in a second we’re it not for financial implications

What kind of money for Keim's buyout?

Who is this Wilks guy you speak of?
According to Browns fans, he his a great guy that locker room spoke passionately about keeping at the end but ultimately had to be the martyr for Josh Rosens sins

By the looks of things, this team quit in the middle of the 2nd quarter of the season opener vs Skins.

After that skins game I knew this was going to be a long season. Many were like “it’s just one game” but you could just tell. I told my girlfriend after that game we are going to be one of the worst teams in the league .

I believe Bidwill is just saving face. He made the mistake of hiring him. He made the mistake of allowing him to go to a 4-3, and he also made the mistake waiting to be the last to hire a coach. He's trying to win Cards fans back and showing his frustration and I'm glad he is. Also glad they went all out on hiring the coaching staff and didn't wait around like they did last year.
