I will admit it...I am a little bummed. For all of my excitement over getting a legit big man/rebounder for the Suns...I am really going to miss Q.

Q I am not sure how you provided so many great memories in just one season, but thanks just the same.

Who doesn't do the head tap in Phoenix when they hit a big shot now? I know I do. If Marbury doesn't pass you the ball, be sure to save a few of those head taps for him.

Thanks Q!

That game winning 3 against the Lakers
The game winning tip in against the Nuggets
And the three point barrages against the Blazers and Lakers!

Thanks for helping with the great season. Good luck getting enough shots in that backcourt with Marbury and Crawford.

Sorry to see you go, Q. :(

Knicks are officially my second-favorite team now. At least I'm getting in on the ground floor.

I for one will miss having him on the team, so much for my jersey... Glad it was only a replica! :D

So long Q, say hey to Steph for us!

Thanks for a couple of game winning tip ins against Denver, it gave me some bragging rights.

I am probably the only person who will not miss the head taps.

Dear Q,

We'll miss you. You played hard and brought and emotional lift fo a team that was searching for an identiy.

I know you are a bit bummed getting traded after having such a good season, but this is a great opportunity for you. You will be allowed to play more of your own game on the biggest stage in the world. With your personality and enthusiasm, you could become a fan favorite in the biggest market in the world. Ask your agent.

Thanks Q for what you brought to this franchise last year - I hope you kick some butt in NY (but not when you play us). Hopefully you and Brandy liked PHX enough to still live here...

I don't think Q is reading this.... not sure what's with the personal tributes. ;)

I have a few good memories of his time with us, but his performance in the playoffs totally soured it for me. I said throughout the season that I regretted our Q signing - wishing we had drafted Igoudala and saved the money for resigning JJ. I thought 40 mil was too much for a skill that is not terribly hard to come by (3 shooting).
I had heard so much about Q's postup game and slashing ability, but I saw much less of that than I thought, particularly in the playoffs. What I saw was a 3-hoister who shot under 40% clip and played average D. I'm glad this will allow us to lock up JJ who is a far greater talent, and we also get a veteran banger and nasty boy who who can bring experience in the locker room and on the court, and also instill some nastiness in our big men.

It's called catharsis, it's called mourning. You are putting your thoughts into virtual ink so that you can move on.

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose not going to miss him. Q grew on me as the season went on, but I complained about him all season long because of his streaky shooting and lack of defense. I do think he brought a lot of heart and chemistry to the team that will probably be missed. The NY media is going to destroy him the 1st time he goes 0-9 from 3pt land.

I'm with Chris.

And I hope the New York media does ride him about his streakiness. I think if he get's tough criticism instead of pats on the back it will encourage him to improve. When he was a Clipper there wasn't as much pressure on him with Maggette and Brand being there. There also wasn't any pressure for him to contribute to taking the franchise anywhere. And when he came here he was the 5th option that we didn't necessarily always have to depend on. NY will be a completely different territory. I hope to see some improvements.

Q is a very smart player. He has the best low post or around-the-basket moves on the Suns, second only to Amare. In Clipperland, everybody was selfish so that left some bad traits on him. But with his great positive attitude, I really thought he'd get rid of them and become even more effective on both ends of the floor in Suns' system. Well, we have trade value to get value back. But I'll certainly miss him here. Thanks, Q!

I really liked Q.

Man, he was a good player for the suns. He had a bad slump/jitters come playoff time. But he was a good contributor.

Im gonna miss the head taps, the quick positional 3 pointers. The skewed head band... Brandy etc. But man, New York isnt going to be too bad, it'll benefit him in terms of personal recognition and role.

I hope he realizes the positive side to this deal. He could have been shipped to Charlotte or New Orleans (assuming they had anything the Suns would want). Q got more recognition as a Sun than a Clipper because they were winning. But with 4 other amazing starters it's easy for him to be an afterthought.

New York is a great opportunity as far as marketing especially with his Nike contract.
