An overall sub-.500 record in the NFL, with no playoffs, is awful. That gets you fired. I also don’t think Kyler needs Kliff to be successful. Imagine Kyler with a guy like McVay, Shanahan, BA, etc. In fact, I think Kliff needs Kyler more.

Kudos to Kliff for this W, but the jury is still out on whether he can truly be a successful long term HC in the NFL. For now, I'm happy for Kliff, Kyler, the Cardinals, but especially for us Cardinal fans!!
Great point. And I criticized Bill as soon as he trotted out the kicker in the pouring rain. Why? Even if the kicker made it, there was a minute left & Brady had timeouts. Tampa's secondary couldn't stop me, so why not go for the 1st, run the clock down to zero & hopefully have a much shorter attempt. Oh well. Who can question a coach that has won more SB's than any other HC in NFL history??
I totally agree. I was watching the game and said to myself go for the first down. I’d rather lose going for it than give Brady the ball back with over a minute left needing only a fg.
As a resident K1 fan from day1, I am concerned that if Kliff leaves, can Kyler grasp a more pro-style offense like what Russ is running. Because this is the same offense K1 has been in since HS, and a new coach would bring his own offense. I asked this question before and some posters said that we hope a bee coach would incorporate some of the old offense with his new offense. Kliff wasn't fortunate enough to walk into an NFC West where have the division was bad like Arians did.
Kliff still really struggles with game management, but he really can design an offense and call plays.
Ironically I think the only people still posting in this thread are those that support kliff.

In a different thread, after the Rams game, TJ said he was not ready to recant his position on firing Kliff. If we have a bad game Sunday, a lot of people will be ready to pull the knives right back out.
Yeah after the collapse last year I could see it. But at 4-0 and the only undefeated in the NFL this year it is crazy talk.
