That is the ugliest logo I could imagine...

Yes it does. More revenue means you are able to offer free agents more guaranteed money in signing bonuses, and that means more money up front. I am not a capologist, but I am sure someone will come along and break it down

It could but nothing forces Bill Bidwill to spend the money, remember he's making far less than the other owners, that's why he needed the new stadium.

I would assume that he'll spend more on free agents but you know what happens when you assume.

well that certainly is a possibility, but I'd like to take the chance at this point. Let him make the money, then there would be no excuses for not getting the players we need.

I am an artist and I have to say that the original design is a formally and compositionally balanced image.

Do you really think that this is a formally and compositionally balanced image?
Call me crazy, but it's the lack of composition that's always bugged me about it.

I wish they took the change a little further, but if anything it's a better composition and definately better proportion now, IMO.

You know section...I may be wrong. I am into artists like picasso, matisse, diebenkorn, Delacroix and others. Mcfarlane is more of the neo-comic variety. I have studied his work a bit and I know that he is of the comic/fantasy genre. I am beginning to think the original is more simplistic and I still believe it is sound. I am not a big fan of comics and digital art. The new image looks more generated than drawn. I guess that would make it a more contemporaneous image but I just don't like the change. I have enjoyed the original for 25 years and I guess I'll have to get use to it. The new one just looks like it has been flattened. Anyway, we'll see when it is on the helmet. I don't like gimmicks, I love football and I don't know if this new image will allow me to see the cards I have rooted for most of my life. Change is necessary, I'll get use to it.

I agree there. But they all kinda do it seems.

I think the make or break with the new logo has a lot to do with the rest of the uniforms (I'm assuming those are changing as well).

Didn't know you had such an interest in those artists. Always a good thing!

Isnt merchandise sales part of the revenue that is shared equally among all teams?

What gave it away, that most of his "pieces" had Spider-Man in them?

I've got McFarlane's entire run on "Infinity, Inc." back in the '80s for DC Comics.

Didn't ever like his style...it always seemed like he was trying way too hard to be "artistic".

You never hear this mentioned anymore, but did you all know McFarlane was in the Toronto Blue Jays' system at one point? Before comics. Not sure what position he played.

I've been a Cardinal fan since they were in Chicago. My first impression is I like it. Maybe because I have been worried that we might do something totally assinine like change our name to the Arizona Cacti. Go to green and sand colored uniforms with a real mean looking cactus with a football stuck on one of it's limbs! SHEEESSHHH.

We still have yet to see what changes there might be as far as the entire uniform.

Now if they could just eliminate those tan kackis that the coaches wear..........
