McDuffie is similar to Byron Murphy, but better coming out.

I just can't shake the feeling that a top drafted corner is wasted in Vance's system, and the system works fine with adequate young guys.

I don't think there is that much in it. McDuffie is consensus #17 and Murphy was consensus #21.

He reminds me of Murphy which is why I don't want him. Mockdraftable even has Murphy as an 89% match. McDuffie is faster, Murphy is longer. But otherwise very similar players.

Much prefer Elam.

Much better taking somebody else, an offensive player

The more I watch on Pierce, the more I want him in round two.

Tough kid, super competitive, good measureables. Wouldn't bet against him being a good player. And he would be the perfect complement to the receivers the Cardinals already have.

He said he patterns his game after AJ Green and I think that's his best comparison. I also see the Jordy Nelson comp too.
I just don’t expect him to make it to our 2nd round pick.

COULDNT GET AN EDGE....BUT GOT SOME OFFENSIVE UPGRADES....

23: R1 P23 G Zion Johnson - Boston College
55: R2 P23 WR Alec Pierce - Cincinnati
87: R3 P23 RB James Cook - Georgia
I think our major holes on this team are on the defensive line... but if we could score that draft, I'd be the happiest I have ever been after the draft.

I'd be A-OK with that one too. I don't think Pierce survives to our 2nd pick, let alone 3rd.

Me either. In fact, I think he might just slip in at the end of the 1st.
Alec Pierce is my darkhorse 1st rounder. Long, competitive, and fast. Was a go to guy for a college playoff team.

Shades of AJ Green and Cooper Kupp (not just because they are both white).

I actually actually would rather draft Pierce than Dotson. It's really hard to find 6'3 guys who can really move. Pierce is very much a candidate to play outside, whereas I think Dotson is a slot receiver.

Peirce is our guy. He can play WR2 for his rookie deal then take over at WR1 when Hop retires. He has everything it takes to be a legit WR1

Defensive line, offensive line, WR, etc
We have holes everywhere; don't get me wrong. We arguably need 3 out of 4 defensive linemen.
