Like it or not staying with the running game had a lot to do with this victory. The team never abandoned it and kept the Seattle defense aware that you had to account for running the ball. Yes it was mostly 2, 3 or 4 yds. however two runs of 3 yds. each put the Cardinals in manageable 3rd down situations.

One call I thought was bogus was the 4th down call in Seattle's favor. The runner (#45) was down at least a 1/2 yrd shy of the first down but they marked the ball where an Olineman with a #5 on his back fell. BA challenged it and I still cannot see what they were seeing.

i dont know about that

the Seahawks had 14 penalties called against them -- so its not like they went easy on Seattle

i do think that non-safety call early was botched, as well as a super generous spot on the 4th down play -- those went against the Cards

but i also saw a couple offensive holding calls against SEA that i thought were ticky as well

i dunno -- while poorly ref'd -- i think it was equal opportunity poorly ref'd

We got away with 2 delay of game penalties; the clock hit zero before we snapped the ball.
