:lmao:

By the way, on Mike & Mike this morning (ESPN Radio) they were mentioning that Kobe was due another suspension for a hit to Jaric similar to his hit on Manu. To those who saw it, any truth to that?

Chin up Lakers fans. At least it was just another elbow incident versus another one of these :moon: with a hotel employee. :D

dear jesus,

can the lakers stop sucking for this one game?

love,

jenna

No they can not. They are swimming with the catfish right now. I think Phil Jackson might kablewey if one more person gets hurt, suspended or ejected from a game.

Kobe scored 65 against Portland. All of them needed to get the OT win.

Shot 59% (67% from three).

While tremendously impressive, it sucks that they needed that effort to beat freaking Portland, in OT.

First player since Jordan in 1987 to score 50+ in three straight.

Jordan had 164 during that stretch, including his career-high 61 point contest.
Kobe has 170 during his stretch.

The record is 7 by Wilt.

This MUST mean Kobe is as good as MJ was.

NOT.

Here's an interesting little stat abomb found.

In 1987 the league scoring average was league average was 109.9 per game. Last year, 97 points.

What does that say? Not a lot, but it sure makes it difficult to compare eras.

I'll say this, there isn't anyone remotely close to Jordan other than Kobe. (But I don't think Jordan is the GOAT, either.) And Kobe's only my 3rd favorite Laker of all time.

Or like Kareem on a joint.

Or James Worthy on a hooker.

Or Magic Johnson on any given groupie.

(to give equal time)
