Nice. Bill Simmons was gushing over EG's jumper in Tuesday's column. I liked watching him at Indiana in the couple of games I saw.

The only thing I worry about is his physical health. The guy has been injured twice since the draft. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck tonight!

Radmon over Odom?

How do you guys really feel about that?

I think Lamar's natural position is SF and he is better overall player than Vlad.

I bet it switches before the allstar break.

I am 100% OK with VladRad over Odom at the start, if Vlad can keep his head on straight. Focused, the guy is a solid player. I see their minutes actually balancing out as the season goes on, but I think Phillip likes LO off the bench.

Are they using him in the second unit to push up the ball?

I didn't watch the game last night. I only caught about most of the 1st quarter when it was clear that Portland had no shot, I turned it off.

I thought Vlad starting was a mistake but watching him in all of pre-season and yesterday, I think he solidifies the team in that capacity. Radman looks like a different ( more assertive) player this year. It's going to be hard taking you guys down.

I'm fine with it. Gives us a seriously sick second unit with Farmar, Lamar, Ariza, Sasha and whichever of Bynum/Pau isn't resting at that point.

Disgustingly deep.

I think I say that every year! ;) I will be happy if he can build on his succes each game. Maybe he is on some meds. ;)

Woohoo !! Our first road win !! :D

:lmao:

A-Bomb's musings;

I knew the Clips added some players, but holy cow! The changed out 10 rostered players from last year.

Lakers fans have long wanted two players in P&G; Baron Davis and Jermaine O'Neal. I am so excited that we will never have to see that now.

Lamar Odom is averaging exactly 5 more MPG than Vlad (26 to 21), despite not starting.

I am loving Ariza. I liked him last year, but so far I am seeing a much improved player.

Wow. That's a pretty big contract this early.

Congrats to locking him up.

Late win over Denver in Denver. Close game throughout, then the Lakers broke it open late in the 4th. Kobe with 34 or something. Defense faltered a bit, but held the Nuggs under 100 at least.

Nice win by the Lakers last night. Bynum had 9 points, 17 reb and 4 blocks.

They erupted at the end of the 4th quarter. Something like a 22-0 run.

Good win at home tonight against Houston. Lakers fell to a 28-16 first quarter, but cruised the rest of the game.

T-Mac had a great night; 1-11 shooting, including 1-3 from 3 for 3 points.
