Hyperextension. He should be able to roll for the opener on 10/28 (Tues).

Lakers have 30 of 82 games on national TV. No NBA League Pass for me. lol

In the next seven days, they have two preseason (THU, FRI) and two regular season (TUE, WED) on national TV.

There is a two-week period in JAN (11-22) where five of their seven games are on national TV.

30 games? Is that a record?

He's gonna be fine. No MRI even.

I'm totally shocked he didn't get a wheelchair though. That's what The Miracle would do.

See, this is the kind of update I wanted. :mulli: on abomb

I hate playing Portland. At least we are at home, where we have a chance. We'd lose for sure in Portland.

Dunno what it is about that franchise and especially that building, but they give the Lakers franchise fits.

Also, going to be really interesting to see LO coming off the bench, and I wonder how often we'll roll with the Odom/Bynum/Pau package.

This kinda surprises me. You would think that with all the attention the Knicks have drawn this off season, they would at least put a couple of their games on for the train wreck value. You don't necessarily have to be good to get ratings, just interesting. Heck, even the Bucks and Grizzlies have a game on National TV this year. All they have to do is just talk about Isiah for a couple of hours and throw in how D'Antoni is the wrong fit for the team....or Starbury.

Lakers look great in game #1. Kobe is Kobe. I expect a long season of Kobe vs LeBron arguements.

Oden looks very out of shape. Hopefully his foot injury isnt too serious.

The Suns selling the rights to Rudy Fernandez will continue to be a sore spot for years to come. The guy looks fantastic.

Channing Frye is worthless. Joel Pryzbilla gets on my last nerve. Nice to see KB stick it to 'em.

Ariza seems to have improved in the offseason. I truly hope he can become a lock-down defender.

Bynum looks really rusty, uncomfortable with the ball.

Ariza looked very good.

The Lakers defensively looked incredibly active. Pau was outstanding.

Our bench is unbeliveably deep now. Wow.

How is Gordon looking? Is he getting much run?
He is doing great. I think he had a 17 point average ( highest for Clips) in pre-season. He is light's out from 3 pt range. I think he had a game with 7 -3 pt'ers...5 in the forth qtr with 4 minutes left in the game. It's just pre-season but the guy can flat out score.

Nice. Bill Simmons was gushing over EG's jumper in Tuesday's column. I liked watching him at Indiana in the couple of games I saw.
