I guess we should start a Milwaukee, Miami pick watch thread. But maybe we should wait to see whether they are actually going to be in play this year.

I wonder if we dealt Chandler with a couple second rounders if that would get us a decent first rounder back.

It was more tongue in cheek but their bodies aren't that different. Kawhi has an underrated handle which AG will probably never have and can't create his own shot yet.

With Gordon developing and Markkanen looking good Miller can finally point to some good pros. Ayton will be a monster.

Lots of it is just plain hard work by Gordon to improve his shooting, and part of it is they finally are in a position where they are playing him at the 4 and he's ok with it. They intentionally signed guys in prior years to allow them to play Gordon at the 3, but he wasn't good enough at the 3 to make it work. but the work he put in to try and become a 3, is now paying off with him at the 4, he's a mismatch nightmare for 4's now.

still can't believe we're not only the one team Lonzo played well against, but that he completely lit us up.

I'm really surprised at how awful his shooting has been.
It was also the 2nd game of the season and the 2nd after losing to the Trail Blazers in historic fashion. He was also playing against the corpse of Eric Bledsoe. Yes, he played well against us, but there were Suns factors that helped facilitate it that wouldn't have existed if the team was what it is now.

True. If I remember correctly, that was the game in which BLopez was literally holding Bledsoe while setting screens, and Bledsoe got to the point of not even trying to get free. He'd just wait for Lopez to grab him and then quit on the play.

I think we would have to deal a couple of second rounders with Chandler just to move his salary. Cannot imagine getting a first round pick back.

Trade Chandler for an expiring contract and get a second round pick back might work.

Oh, and here is a NASA photo for Kyrie Irving taken two days ago. The earth is still round.

When it comes to Irving's, Kyrie is no Dr. J.

not any more and it appears that the problem was Bledsoe. Best game against Suns with Bledsoe still there, tonight youngest player (by 5 days over his idol LeBron) in NBA history with a triple double and the Bucks had Bledsoe.

Man that's my first look at Greek Freak this year, he is insane, if the Bucks win enough games he has a legit chance at MVP this year. It must drive teams nuts that 14 of them passed on him in the 13 draft. He's still only 22, he sure has improved but Cleveland must be kicking themselves they picked Bennett over him.

I agree totally. He looks like a video-game character. He's just so long and quick, it's incredible.

The last 2 years it was obvious he was really good but you thought ok but he needs a better jumpshot. It's improved but it just doesn't seem to matter he's just too good.

As well as Lonzo played last night (had 4 blocks again) the most memorable play for him was getting posterized by Giannis.

Someone missed a shot and as Lonzo came over to try and get the defensive rebound, Giannis swooped in from nowhere caught it and flushed it while Lonzo was called for the foul. If I were building a team now there's not that many guys I would take over him to build around.

The Knicks just waived Mindaugas Kuzminskas. Suns have second priority on the waiver wire to claim him (resets to this season's records on Dec. 1st). I believe we were rumored to have interest in him in the past. Could be interesting, but I'm not sure we have room for another forward.

That's funny you brought that up...I was watching the Magic play and I couldn't stop staring at the stupid hair. What person in their right mind purposely does their hair like that? At least the sun will never get in his eyes I guess?

I’ve seen dumb looking hairstyles in my time (brother-who-shall-not-post was a skater) but Elfrid ‘s is easily the dumbest.

To me, it says something about his commitment to his craft. That hair has to be a hindrance, at least in some way, to his performance--gets in the way of shooting motion, vision, or just flops. When a player puts his "style" above his game, I don't want him.
