Kawhi Leonard Trade Rumors: Lakers Offers Considered 'Flat-Out Unacceptable'
If the Los Angeles Lakers are going to make a deal for Kawhi Leonard, their trade offers to the San Antonio Spurs need to drastically improve.

Per The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor, multiple league sources have described the Lakers' proposals for Leonard as "underwhelming." One executive went so far as to describe them as "flat-out unacceptable."

There is plenty of competition for Leonard, with ESPN'sAdrian Wojnarowskireporting on June 28 that the Boston Celtics were among several teams talking to the Spurs and have "long had the assets" San Antonio covets.

Relatively speaking. Relative to other player with similar contracts his impact on winning is small. In other words, he kind of sucks.

Disagree. Carmelo sucks. If OKC ditches Carmelo that team will be waaaaaaaay better. Paul George is really good.

Oh come on. You know you can't prove that he sucks so now you have to change the argument that well "relative to other players with similar contracts". It's a weak argument. PG is a well above average NBA player and that by definition is not someone that "kinda sucks"...

Pat Burke is way better than you, but he sucks too. It’s all relative.

I'm not surprised about Butler and Towns. After reading a few articles about his obsessive video game habit, it's clear basketball is not at the top of his list. He's incredibly talented but playing video games all night long and then not even knowing who his team is playing until he shows up to play them has to conflict with the work ethic of someone like Butler.

does not reflect well on Butler or Towns

I don't see why it reflects poorly on Towns. He doesn't want to play with someone who just goes through the motions.

Edit: I meant Butler, not Towns.

hanging dirty laundry out in the press does not reflect well on Butler either.
we are familiar with the force-the-owners-hand/diminish-trade-value technique in phx

Source this. There are no direct quotes, no comments from Butler and the article acknowledged that waiting for the next season might be money related instead. I've detested Butler from the day he actively threw a game with the Bulls. Doing that to your teammates is a line that should never be crossed. But there's no evidence that he's part of the problem in Minnesota.
