Cavs lost by combined 48 points in Game 1 and Game 2 last year ... and won the series. This year? 41. So that's the silver lining for Cavs.

I think that is working against the Cavs actually. This isn't the same Warriors team and perhaps Cleveland isn't playing as urgently as they need to because they have come back from a 3-1 defecit. GS hasn't forgotten about that and playing with an urgency they didn't have last year.

Does anyone think Durant could pull a Lebron and head back to OKC if he wins the title this year? That would even things out in terms of parity in the West and might even get Cleveland to break things up some considering they lost $40 million last year and are set to lose more this year.

Can they just give the Warriors the title for the next few years already? Sigh.

Why would he? Westbrook is still there and Durant hates him. This is the easiest Durant has ever had it in his basketball career: three other all-stars, one of whom is 2-time MVP, great coach, great bench, great FO, and he gets to live in San Francisco as opposed to Oklahoma City. Dude has it made right now.

If this is the dynamic we're going to see every year (CLE v GSW), Cleveland has to get a defensive stopper to have a chance. Kyrie and Love are subpar defenders. I would say the next best defender is Richard Jefferson, and he's 96 years-old.

the only hope Cleveland has of getting a win is for three of GS starters to have off shooting nights at the same time.
The offense is too powerful,.. and the warriors play a bit of defense too
sweeps are hard in the nba...GS may lose one in Cleveland....I mean what the hell...much better to win the title at home anyway

I used to like the Warriors but signing Durant just soured me. It just seems like cheating. Just like Miami years ago

Watching LBJ lose is rather satisfying. I hope GSW can sweep them, extend Durant, and keep that team together until LBJ retires.
You would rather LeBron lose rather than watching entertaining basketball?

I'm no LeBron fan but I will hate watching basketball if I already knew before every season that the Warriors are gonna win the Finals for at least the next 5 years in a row.

I will take watching competitive and entertaining basketball over hating LeBron.

Shumpert is a better defender than Jefferson. JR Smith is supposed to be a good defender but he just sucks this season.

I don't think Lebron is the only player who can stop the Warriors. There are a number of a teams who could step up and be more competitive but the Warriors just added Durant, it will take a little while until other contenders make necessary adjustments. Hopefully the Celtics are able to add a player that helps them contend with the Cavs more next season and another team in the East rises up. The Spurs could challenge the Warriors, if healthy, and if they can manage to sign Chris Paul that could make for a great series. Houston also could add a piece or two to be more competitive.
