Kevin Durant (strained left calf) said that he is "getting better every day" and that "hopefully" he will be able to play in Game 3 vs. the Blazers on Saturday.
Durant provided an update via a YouTube live streaming session. "Felt like I could go [in Game 2], but Coach [Steve] Kerr and the training staff and the whole organization told me it would be best to give it a few days rest," said Durant. "So hopefully I see how I feel these next couple days." The extra day of rest should benefit KD. However, the Warriors blew out the Blazers in Game 2 even without Durant, so they have no need to rush him back. We should get a formal update from the team on Friday afternoon. Apr 21 - 9:32 AM
