I'm more drawn to the DA can coach / team ball is the best ball narrative and want to see him / the style vindicated (not that is wasn't already with the warriors...). Of course, if the rockets win it will be NOTHING to do with DA  .

Yes, I'd like to see DA vindicated as well. The Rockets destroying the Spurs would be delicious on many levels. Touching on DA, his offense was always championship worthy, but has he modified his approach? I noticed he played a deep bench and his defense was swarming Kawhi.

He has a deeper bench and a defensive coordinator that Morey brought in with Mike in the off season. I don't know his name but he is well respected around the league.

I hope the Rockets can keep it up and hope that the Rockets can compete with the Warriors. IMO they are the only team with a legit shot at them. Maybe the Cav's, but I hope not. I really do not like any of the Cav players. I may not root for either of them in the finals.

thank god we don't have Aldridge right now. He looks like he is way past his prime already.

I was thinking that too. He's been awful. At one point, Popovich had to have David Lee be the big to cover Harden after the high screens, instead of Aldridge, because Aldridge was useless, whereas Lee was at least trying to compete. When you're a big who defends worse than David Lee, you aren't doing well.

Horford knew what he was doing. He perhaps wasn't trying to roll Morris' ankle or get him out of the game, but he certainly knew that could happen by stepping in the way he did after the shot was released. It was reckless.

Despite trailing by 39 and losing Game 1 by 27 points, Vegas has the Spurs as a 5-point favorite for Game 2 Wednesday.
If they were underdogs, I would've personally bet a small fortune on the Spurs to win game 2. No way Pop let's them lose two in a row at home in the playoffs. I'd be surprised if it's not a double digit win.
