The more I think about it, the more I realize that Ball wouldn't become the next Ariza/Bledsoe here. Instead, he would become the point guard version of Markeiff Morris.
His injuries, his body type and his brother/agent all scare the hell out of me. Throw in the fact that he's been rumored to want to play with Doncic for awhile now and I wouldn't touch him for any reason. It's just too big of a gamble. But purely as a player, I'd have zero concerns about pairing him with Ayton.
no. you're making a straw-man argument that is false and you are insulting & harassing him
so you are being the troll
his posts are on topic -- you just don't like them
Kevin Durant.
They had the cap space to go after Durant anyway.
You find it easy to imagine a Porzingis/Durant frontcourt? I doubt Knicks are smart enough to figure out how to make that work. They may be looking at doing the 2 max guys acquisition -- Durant and... maybe someone like Kawai or Paul George or something. They had the cap space to go after Durant anyway.

Durant will likely be after as much money as he can get and the Knicks will have no issue giving him the absolute max. Also supposedly the Knicks want to pair Durant and Kyrie together so that could make him going there more enticing for him.Plus, why would Durant go to a lousy roster in New York when he can go anywhere he wants?
Congrats you’ve lost what minimal credibility you still retained.Players never return 100% from torn ACLs
Holy crapI just read that the last player the Knicks drafted and signed to an extension was Charlie Ward.
Good... freaking... Lord.

I felt this couldn't be true, and while I didn't look at every single pick I did review every one I thought might have signed an extension and couldn't find any. Closest were David Lee and Nate Robinson who signed 1 year deals higher than the QO. This was in 2009 and the reason the Knicks didn't extend them was because they wanted in on the 2010 Lebron sweepstakes.
Let's see what Doncic can do by himself now. Jorden and Smith will be good for NY
Prozingis is better than Kyrie Irving. And Kyrie Irving, perhaps.

Durant isn't going to New York. If he was interested in a challenge, he would never have left Westbrook and the Thunder. In fact a return to Oklahoma City is probably more likely.
I dunno, Durant lacks self awareness and is profoundly insecure (as evidence by defending himself and attacking others on burner twitter accounts). He's already complained about his wages compared to other super stars (even though he'd be making as much or more if he hadn't left to ride coattails).
He has his rings now, likely a 3rd after this season, now he's going to head off and play for stats and bright lights. My guess is the Knicks or Lakers, with the Clippers, Mavs or Nets as dark horse teams.
I don't think Mavs will have Max cap space after taking back Lee and THJ, unless the agents for Barnes and Powell forget to submit the paperwork to have their options picked up.
Rich coming from youCongrats you’ve lost what minimal credibility you still retained.
