Not to sound callous, but so? The question is still valid, what good will it do? I'll bet a million dollars that the entire right-wing establishment will ignore the WHY of them doing it and concentrate more that they are a bunch of millionaires that play a game--who cares what they think?

It's sad but true. The NBA has so far been great for the movement -- this would seem to counter that and actually take a step backwards.

When I was a kid in the sixties the samet hings were happening then as they are now. We haven't really made progress to the point where there is no issues. Yes people of color don't have to have sit ins in diners anymore, but there is still more work to be done. It's sad so much time has passed and things have moved so slowly.
