Players will be tested daily and results must be negative to practice.

With practice facilities opening this might hint at a Christmas time start.

I'm not sure why the NBPA is balking at a Christmas time start with this past season shortened and many players having long breaks.

CBA opt-out now extended to Nov. 6.

Here is a statement from NBPA.

I hope, for Steve's sake, this doesn't mean that D'Antoni's philosophies prevail.

Such as, it's not my job to develop young players; 7.5-man rotations; and no-D.

I would think that Steve wants to build a winner, rather than put on a huff-n-puff show.

But then, that was Steve's success until he was run into the ground.

Which did not produce the foundation for a strong playoff contender.

Better Brooklyn than us.

If he wants to build a winner hiring Mike was a great move. Steve is so selfless this HC platoon might actually work. I’m surprised Mike went for it TBH.

Two words: Lebron James. His hands are all over this.

I give Lebron a lot of credit for helping get the bubble play in Orlando accepted by the players.

Maybe the NBA can approve some load management for the final four playoff teams.

It looks like the 76ers are set at GM and Basketball Operations.

Deni Avdija has the tools to be the best player in the draft.

The NBA is looking for ways to increase revenue including a play-in tourney.

By Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe ESPN:

The NBA is searching for ways to increase cash flow into teams, and sources say the league is hopeful to expand guidelines on sports betting, hard alcohol and casinos that could generate between $80 million and $100 million in revenue, sources said.

The play-in tournament proposal has coalesced around the structure ESPN first reported was gaining traction in early 2018: a four-team tournament among the Nos. 7, 8, 9, and 10 seeds for the final two playoff spots in each conference.

The tournament would begin with No. 7 hosting No. 8, and the winner locking into the No. 7 spot. Meanwhile, No. 9 would face No. 10, with the winner advancing to play the loser of the 7-versus-8 matchup for the No. 8 seed, sources have told ESPN.

Also discussed in the ESPN article is the idea of spreading out players losses in salary over multiple seasons, perhaps three, to avoid an inordinate loss in one season.

It looks like there may be a three year escrow withholding period for players salaries.
