And if you notice all of his offensive drives he always starts with shoving his forearm with his arm extended into the midsection of his defender— typically doing it two and three times during the drive. They could call that every time if they wanted to. Alas, they NEVER call it.

The next step for Kidd is to convince Luka to play defense. I agree about the pace too but the main thing is his defense. There's a play at 10 where Draymond gets a layup off Poole, the ball moves all over the place and Luka didn't move a foot in any direction it was like he played a one man zone. Just no effort at all. Best offensive player in the league IMO.

Minus athletes like Luka are rarely even average defenders.

Oh I agree his offense is insanely good. But too many times he just doesn't give effort on defense. If he just played harder nobody's expecting him to be a great defender but if he just tries to play defense it would be huge for them.
