Watching this game just hardens my opinion that the 2021-2022 Suns were the most disappointing in franchise history. Watching these other teams play with fire and grit… and realize we went out like such gutless punks.

I used to say think that about Jeff Hornacek as well. He used to be able to weave his way through traffic without losing the ball. I attribute much of that ability to great hand eye-coordination and dexterity.

Also some of these players are much quicker than one might think. If you have ever watched a cat play with a mouse it looks like the cat is moving in slow motion. I suspect Luka is much quicker than meets the eye.
that's a good point. recently dirk was interviewed and he said that about doncic. he said when doncic was a rookie he tried to guard him one on one. he thought he could guard him because he said Luka does not look very fast. but he said what makes him tough to guard is his quickness not his speed. Luka can change pace very quickly and it's the change of pace, his strength, and ability to handle the ball is what make him tough to guard, not his straight-line speed.

Against Dallas, with Curry on the court the Warriors had an offensive rating of 122.1, which would have easily led the NBA in offensive rating. Without Curry on the floor their rating would have been 17th in the NBA. That also points out how improved Poole is and how important having Klay back is, last year without Curry the Warriors were the worst offensive team in the NBA, the year before one of the worst in history.
Curry did play well and Thompson had his moments before game 5. I watched game 2 and game 4 and the Warriors role players really killed Dallas, igniting a comeback in each game. They almost came back and won game 4 with the stars sitting on the bench. In game 4 I thought Kerr should of just let his role players finish off the game instead of going back to his top guys at the very end, he actually cooled his own players off. I didn't feel very good after watching game 4 with how easily they erased a 30 point dallas lead. Dallas really got hurt on the boards and that was really a major difference in them losing this series so quickly. I think if you look at how Dallas played from January until now, they have a really promising future and from that time onward Doncic really asserted himself as a top 5 player in the league. If he can continue to improve and they can get a couple more additions, they will be a contender.

I have no idea who will win the Celtics-Heat series. Evidently the Heat don't deserve to lose. It also validates my vague feeling that Eastern Conference teams historically tend to be more hardcore and less laid-back than Western. Celtics, Heat; Bulls dynasty players; 90s Knicks; 80s Bad Boy Pistons.

The Jimmy Butler performance makes me think of looking at DeAndre Ayton and yelling "Get off the court!"

If the Warriors team plane crashed into a mountain I wouldn't lose a second of sleep.
I mean I would feel bad, I might even say "awww". But I jdgas what Curry does or how good life is in Golden State (wherever the F that is).

From the rumor mill, allegedly Marcus Smart was screaming at Brown and Tatum in the locker room after the game in game 6. This boiled over on the flight to Miami with allegedly Brown punching Smart and then the 2 throwing punches and wrestling on the plane until separated.

Man I thought they were past this stuff. I don't think the last confrontation went physical but it was close. The team turned it around shortly after the last one, guess there's still some baggage there.

Well it's a rumor so I think we might know more if Smart looks like he got punched during tonights game. the place I saw the rumor my response was when did they fly to Miami because game 6 was Friday and they play sunday so seems like they'd have had at least 1 day to cool off before the flight. But he insists he hears they brawled on the flight.

Yeah, knowing Smart's temper and stories I've heard about Brown and to a lesser extent Tatum, it's easy to accept this story.

We will see how it works out but I like the idea of players showing passion after losing.

I wonder if any of them were acting like Michael Jordan--punching teammates for not playing hard enough, or making a mistake or something.

The Celtics trade for Derrick White was a really good move.

Ball off brown they give it to celtics then the inbounder steps appears to walk and barely gets the TO before the 5 count. Miami can't get a break that's the 3rd ball off the Celtics that the refs gave to Boston IMO

The league may have finally decided it will make mo' money off a Celtics-Warriors final than Heat-Warriors.

Miami in big trouble looked like Butler was limping again after he missed that last shot
