While at the same time, I don’t hear them complaining about their share of the luxury tax money it’s bringing into their franchises.

The rule is there they are paying the luxury tax so what?

The ratings are apparently up 37% this year so the fans either like to watch the Warriors or they're all watching because they hate them. Either way good ratings is good for the league.

Payton and Porter both listed as questionable but supposed to play tonight. Sounds like Iggy is out again.

Payton in particular was huge in game 2 his return really tightened up the minutes and when he was in you could see a clear difference in defensive rotations.

The NBA revealed the Game 3 referee assignments Wednesday morning. Scott Foster is the crew chief, and he'll be joined by David Guthrie and Courtney Kirkland.

Guthrie led the league in technical fouls calledduring the regular season. Foster and Kirkland both finished in the top 10 among referees in fouls called per 48 minutes, per NBARefStats.

I googled it because it didn't sound right to me. This is what I found so unless the bit I found is wrong, the 12-0 number is not true. I even found a link that said the Celtics didn't want Foster for game 7 against Miami because they believe he has a history of favoring the Heat.

Scott Foster officiating history with Warriors, Celtics

Warriors

  • Golden State was 1-2 in 2021-22 regular-season games officiated by Foster
  • Foster most recently officiated the Warriors in their Game 5 win over the Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals
Celtics

  • The Celtics were 2-2 in 2021-22 regular-season games officiated by Foster
  • Foster most recently officiated Boston in its Game 7 win over Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals

Can someone explain to me how the “in-season nba tournament” would inject ANY kind of “importance” David Silver is talking about? What is supposed to be at stake in that?

Looks like Iggy is playing. Surprised they were saying he will only play in one of the next 2 games so I figured they'd hold him out for game 4.

On the rim, Poole caught it again apparently, did the same thing in the Denver series.

Apparently Steph was missing shot after shot in warmups and Poole then said the rim is too high, they measured and it was more than 10 feet. So I guess it was Steph missing repeatedly that tipped him off.

and that's why that first foul on Curry was so annoying it wasn't even close to the contact Smart had on him that went uncalled but now he has 2

Draymond green needs to step up his intensity he’s let all the media hype and complaining about game 2 get to him.

It was a crap call. More times than not whenever Scott Foster is the lead official curry has 2 fouls in the first quarter probably 70% of the games .

My problem was Steph got hit by Smart on his first shot no call and then they called a foul on Steph on the same drive with less contact on a pass. But steph can't commit that 2nd foul let him go

other than the block Brown has dominated Draymond so far. The reason Draymond was talking on that play is as Brown was running downcourt he just flattened Curry and yelled at him as he did it.

This game is already over.
Horrible start they're making 3's, blocking shots and we have only drawn 1 foul so we can't get to the FT line either.

Going to need Poole and Klay to get hot tonight

all things considered 11 down is ok. When Payton misses a dunk and gets another one blocked you know it's a bad quarter.

So far nobody can guard Brown even Payton got worked

I guess no T's tonight Tatum spiked the ball twice on that one and didn't get called. Good for Draymond I guess.
