Denver gets: Dame time

Portland gets: Jamal Murray, Monte Morris, Zeke Nnaji, 3 1st, 2 pick Swaps

Joker needs help bad. I think that’s a good deal for Denver.

No, that’s silly.

you really like old players on the decline huh?

Murray is going to be better than Dame the next season they both play, and will be good a whole lot longer.

Based on what? Murray hasn’t been healthy in two years. This is the second year Jokic is left hanging out there by himself. Dame is 31 let’s not act like he’s 40

Your time is now with Jokic and you’ve just wasted the last two years

That ejection of Cousins was total bull crap!

I think the ref knew it too because right after that they called a foul on Porter that was clearly on Rivers.

I hate when refs double down on a bad call and call another T. Just let them play.

That was fun seeing the big 3 together finally and Poole was awesome. That was basically the first game all year they had the entire roster available.

I don't think we saw it tonight but Steph, Poole, Klay, Wiggins and Draymond a new death lineup would be interesting. Probably too small against most teams.

Everything Portland did was to keep Lillard. Some of their trades were almost giveaways. We agree Jokic needs help.

Hopefully Murray gets back, I'm not convinced they can rely on Porter going forward he just has too much injury history.

I don't know if he will but the really need someone like Bones Hyland to be really good, he had a great rookie year if he can take that next step it would really help them

Watching highlights on local tv they actually had that exact lineup on the floor for a few minutes at the end of the first half

I think it will be Suns vs Golden State in the WCF. Man.....Curry, Green, Klay, and now Poole! That is simply a great matchup with the Suns. Poole has taken his game to another level and that is with Klay working his way back.

After watching the games today a few thoughts: Anthony Edwards has the potential to be one of the best ever….his scoring ability at 20 is insane. He’s almost unguardable if he’s making his step back jumper. His confidence is through the roof and he has a grown man body. Minnesota got themselves a dawg.

I love Ja, kid is a highlight reel waiting to happen. He has to get better shooting from the perimeter. His body is taking a pounding attacking the rim and the jumper will open up the offense more for Memphis.

Tyrese Maxey is a bucket. Kid had 38 today and plays fearlessly. If Harden or Embiid are off he can carry the Sixers in stretches.

Lastly, I can’t figure out the Jazz lol. They’re so good offensively yet Rudy and Donovan don’t play off each other well. Rudy took 1 shot today l, ONE. Spida took 29…..that’s horrible balance. Idk if Luka is healthy enough to will the Mavs to a series win but Utah is just so Jekyll and Hyde.

The Utah thing is just as odd as I’ve ever seen.

I am praying that the Suns and Utah meet in round 2, we will smoke em. That team is begging for a massive collapse, Mitchell and Gobert obviously hate each-other.

Ja Morant is amazing, but he reminds me of Rose. You just can't play like that, at that size, and stay healthy. He took 3 or 4 nasty falls today. I still think they will beat the Wolves though, Minny is really streaky, Anthony Edwards is as likely to average 10 points the next 2 games as he is to go for over 30 again. I also think KAT is about as much of a front runner as a player can possibly be. In games where Minnesota falls behind they're better off getting him on the bench than his routine of terrible threes and awful fouls.

I hope the Nuggets put up more of a fight. Jokic, despite the decent stats, looked disengaged tonight. I actually thought that was a bad matchup for GS going into the game but it sure didn't play out that way.

I think it's a bit ironic that the Jazz go from such a fantastic long-term superstar tandem that raised each other's games in Stockton and Malone to quite possibly the worst long-term star tandems in Mitchell and Gobert. I would think they have to choose between them this off-season. Rudy could be so much more than he is. I think Mitchell would be better as well since he wouldn't actively avoid passing to a part of the floor and also taking some bad shots because Rudy is the only option otherwise.

They pass up so many easy baskets by just flat out ignoring Gobert. You’ll see them switch and he could have a 6’2 PG on him and Mitchell will flat out refuse to pass to him. How do you have a 7’2 all NBA caliber center and you just ignore him even when the mismatch is obvious

Mitchell in my opinion is just a volume scorer. He’s not a leader, a distributor, a defender nothing he does one thing. One of the reasons he can be so weak on defense is because Gobert can cover up his mistakes. Don’t know what you got till it’s gone

If I were the Nuggets I wouldn't depend on Michael Porter Jr. even though they paid him the max. It's like icing on the cake if he produces.

I do think they found another good point guard in Bones Hyland and when Murray comes back the Nuggets will be really tough.

If the Nuggets ever surround Jokic with healthy talent, they will be a championship caliber team. This guy is as automatic as they come and he is a distributor as well.

Yeah I like Mitchell but he hasn't evolved much at all. He used to get compared to Booker, or Book compared to him, but Booker has become a complete player on both ends of the floor, a distributor, and a leader. Mitchell is a scorer and secondary distributor when he likes his teammates. He's not a centerpiece and neither is Gobert but I think if they choose Mitchell over Gobert they'll regret it because Mitchell will start making more demands and likely be on his way out within 3 years of them sending Rudy away.

They should shop Mitchell this off-season as I'm sure they could get a great package for him. Perhaps even dump a contract like Conley's in the process. Offer Portland Mitchell and Conley for Lillard and Simons. Portland gets a new star like player to build around and Utah gets a better teammate for Rudy.

I wouldn’t make that deal if I’m Portland because I think Simmons is going to be a star.

I think Portland plans for Anfernee Simons to be a star player.

If the Trail Blazers plan on chasing someone in free agency they may go after Deandre Ayton. They like their big men in Portland.

Bill Simmons prediction is the Suns in a sign and trade send Ayton to Portland for Nurkic and filler
