I wouldn’t even limit it to 2 per game. Sure, nobody wants to see the game stopped for review 10 times, but it’s better than allowing 10 bad calls to stand. If every challenge results in a bad call being overturned, you can have as many challenges as you want. The first time you waste time with a challenge that does not overturn a call, that’s your last challenge of the game, and the other team gets a technical free throw.They need to fix that. I understand not wanting the games to become stretched out with reviews but it wouldn't be difficult to fix. If the challenge is overturned then the coach gets another. No more than 2 per team in a game. Simple enough, in my opinion.
That way, teams are in not in any way penalized for getting a challenge right, but are strongly discouraged from making challenges they’re not sure about.
