It's hack-a-Gobert now.
I'd probably trade everyone on the roster that has value. From a distance they appear to be in desperate need of a full rebuild. The Jazz are due for a change. I'd keep Gobert and trade Mitchell as others have mentioned. Rudy should have plenty of years left in the tank.
The series with the Mavericks was there for the taking. There is something wrong with the chemistry of the Jazz.

Crap… we’re probably gonna have to win games in the 2nd round without Book if we take care of this round in 5 or 6.

Given that Donovan is 25 and Rudy is 29, why would you move Gobert over Mitchell? Is Donovan the reason their chemistry seems off? I have despised Utah since the early days of Stockton/Malone so I rarely watch them (or follow them) - so I have no idea what their issues are but this is basically the same team that Mitchell led to the best record in the NBA just a year ago.I think they can retool around Gobert after trading Mitchell. Even removing him to plug Clarkson in at SG and see what they can do.
Mitchell to OKC for picks, maybe? Get the best scoring guard they can and if they're not a playoff contender by the deadline dump everyone.

Gobert's game will likely be effective for another 4-5 years. He's not exactly mobile now but he locks down the paint like no other and doesn't require offensive touches. He's a more manageable personality than Mitchell.
Those 2 hate each other. I believe Mitchell averages 1 pass to Gobert a game, not assist but actual pass. He won't feed him despite being their primary ballhander. That's a legit stat someone else posted towards the end of the season and not hyperbole. They need separated.
Mitchell has more value in a trade and I can't see him sticking past his current contract in Utah, if he makes it that long. Trading Gobert to appease him might leave them without both if he bolts, which I think is likely. I can't see them improving without Gobert, Mitchell's bad perimeter defense would only be exposed more. So if they moved Gobert and suck more, Mitchell will bail out.
I think replacing a 20+ ppg scorer will be easier than replacing a perennial 1st team All Defensive Center. Mitchell is a ball dominant chucker at this point because he refuses to use his all of his teammates to their fullest, which will hold them back and while replacing Gobert might change that, I doubt it. I think he's set into who he is in Utah and unless he's forced to adjust elsewhere, he won't.
