At the end on the local telecast Steph went up to Wiggins and said something about that offensive rebound and he was clearly telling him you can do that anytime you want just be aggressive.

The Death lineup was not good at all tonight but they still found a way to win. Great game from Jokic, Gordon finally showed up, 44% from 3, 22-27 from FT line, 5 misses from Poole and Steph combined on FT's and Denver still couldn't win. You could see Popeye Jones walking off for the Nuggets just shaking his head couldn't believe they lost
The decision making by Denver in the last couple of minutes was just baffling. Barton (I think?) pulled up for a 30 footer with time left on the clock and Jokic with good position and Klay Thompson on him. That play stood out but there were others. Jokic didn't get many touches down the stretch which has got to be frustrating given the game he was having.

I kind of feel like the game was one of those what if deals. With 11 minutes left in the game Poole gets caught in the air and a bailout pass to Klay who somehow made a 26 footer to put the Warriors up 2. I feel like the Nuggets had the momentum there and had the Warriors on the ropes. Curry was about 3-4 minutes away from coming in, they had a weird lineup in at the time and it was really just Poole and Klay that could score. Denver had a 1 point lead and if the Warriors don't score there I just kind of felt like the game was going to slip away. Klay took some really bad shots last night, contested deep 3's etc but that one shot to me sort of saved the Warriors.

I do agree Denver imploded a bit at the end, Joker was just killing us even Draymond couldn't guard him kept going for the pumpfakes and getting beat off the dribble. We had no answer for him and Denver sort of helped the Warriors out a few times.

Good reminder about that play, I thought Poole got away with one there as it looked like he had landed before getting rid of the ball. Double checked the video highlights and sure enough, if you freeze frame it, you can see his foot on the ground and ball in his hand. 5th video in the package below.

I kind of thought so live to not surprised.

That was a huge play IMO they had all the momentum until that shot went in

He finally showed up I was yelling at him for not expecting that lob but then he hit a corner 3 and got a big offensive board. So frustrating he has been a good player for the W's but he's so passive.
The offensive board was the play of the game. Between three nuggets he came up with it and it lead to a five or six point game instead of a one possession game.

I'm not entirely sure if Milwaukee is much deeper than I thought they were or Chicago is just incredibly sorry but the Bucks absolutely embarrassed the Bulls in Chicago without Khris Middleton.

Kyle Lowry appears to have hamstring issues but apparently plans to play through it?

Grayson Allen (22) stepped up big time off the bench. Also Pat Connaughton (11) always plays hard.

I just noticed DeRozan only had 11 points.

Scottie Barnes of the Raptors wins ROY. He was the #4 pick and I don't recall hearing much of anything about him in college. He's a good player though, definitely deserving. Dude didn't play like a rookie. Averaged 15.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, and 3.5 apg in 74 games, all starts.

We was a terrific frosh. He was a long shot for ROY due to the 3 guys drafted before him, but if there was a dark horse he was kind of considered that due to his multiple tools. He kind of shot up to the fourth spot in the draft late if I recall (not from way back though).

I didn't realize they're without Tim Hardaway Jr as well. He was their only consistent scorer other than Luka, which is bad. He's a lot like a Gerald Green where he can shoot you in or out of games. Knowing he's out makes Utah's performance that much worse.

If the Jazz don't make some big changes this off-season then I could see them falling even more to being a play-in team. All the playoff teams behind them will be better next year so they really need to do something. Quin Snyder might get scapegoated if they fail to get past Dallas. He deserves a shot without the Mitchell/Gobert drama.

I think the Jazz will and should move on from Mitchell, we know about the drama with Gobert and on top of that there is a lot of smoke that Mitchell doesn't see himself staying in Utah long term regardless.

If they get a decent return for Mitchell they could improve. Chemistry goes a long way.

The playoffs this year have been a bad look for Mitchell. What happened to the guy that used to attack the bucket? Seems like all he does now is take bad threes.

The Jazz are due for a change. I'd keep Gobert and trade Mitchell as others have mentioned. Rudy should have plenty of years left in the tank.

The series with the Mavericks was there for the taking. There is something wrong with the chemistry of the Jazz.

That was the perfect play to sum up Utah

Clarkson drives fakes a pass to Gobert who was wide open for the dunk goes up bricks a contested shot then throws his hands up and yells at Gobert running down the court

Looked like a good block by Gobert on Doncic. Jazz calls for challenge.

That is on Bogdonavic for flopping. If he doesn't go to the ground it would have been no call.
