Well it's not a horrible bet, better odds than going with the Suns and if everything goes right they are capable of winning.

I think Memphis matches up with them pretty well though. I actually think GS has a better chance of beating the Suns than they do the Grizzlies.

At what point do Clipper fans just stop following sports?
There it is again. Same thing as in San Antonio. Kahwi wants to collect his paycheck without actually working. The teams both know it and are too-toeing around the issue.

Your answer is the board that gets the most traffic here.

I said it before I would rather player the Clippers early than late because of Leonard possibly returning late in the playoffs. Now I really want them to win.

You say that as a Cardinals fan.

Bobby Marks is saying suns are the only team in the west capable of winning the title.

To me that is a really stupid statement.

I really think Suns Memphis and GS if steph is healthy are the 3 best teams in the league, and I am pretty sure the records reflect as much.

I am really sick of the east coast bias.

I kind of agree with him. Golden State should be mentioned with the Suns but with an asterisks for their health, primarily Steph's but also Draymond. If either of them goes down then they're toast.

Memphis is a lot like we were last year, they lack the experience to be a legit favorite and I think the best teams in the East would knock them out.

Paul George apparently is symptomatic, so even if the Clippers win tonight, it's doubtful he's going to play in at least Game 1 against us.

It’s become reallly ridiculous. The East is actually good, with solid depth 1-8 for the first time in FOREVER, but the West still has the teams with the 3 best records and our 4-8 is easily comparable to the same seeds in the East.

If the Clippers win tonight, a tiny part of me worries that the team has asymptomatic cases up and down the roster, but because the NBA doesn’t test or contact trace anymore, they could subject all of our guys to whatever they’re carrying which could screw us in the next round.

I'd tell em, unless you think you're gunna die... don't tell us if you feel sick!

Luka Doncic will miss game 1 of the playoff series between the Jazz and Mavericks in Dallas on Saturday.

There are also questions about game 2.

The Nuggets @ Warriors game on Saturday should be fun to watch.

It starts at 5:30 p.m. Arizona time on Saturday and will be televised on ABC.

Probably more, no? Wasn't it something like a 10-day minimum with 2 consecutive negative tests? It could end up being 3, possibly 4 games. If today is day 1, then day 10 would be the 25th and the schedule looks like this:

  • Game 1: Sunday, April 17 | 6 p.m. | Home | Bally Sports Arizona/TNT
  • Game 2: Tuesday, April 19 | 7 p.m. | Home | Bally Sports Arizona/TNT
  • Game 3: Friday, April 22 | TBD | Away | Bally Sports Arizona/TNT
  • Game 4: Sunday, April 24 | 6:30 p.m. | Away | Bally Sports Arizona/TNT
  • *Game 5: Tuesday, April 26 | TBD | Home | TBD
  • *Game 6: Thursday, April 28 | TBD | Away | TBD
  • *Game 7: Saturday, April 30 | TBD | Home | TBD

They changed it to 6 days a couple of months ago.

I think Memphis is quite a bit better than we were last year and we were a few injuries away from winning it all. I think several teams are better this year than any of the top teams were last season so it will be a tough hill to climb for a team that isn't playoff tested but I certainly wouldn't rule them out.

Trae Young is so pathetic on the defensive end he doesn’t even try
Yeah that team has a lot of talent but Trae seems to be more about Trae than he is team and it shows up on both sides of the ball. Although his complete lack of defense stands out, maybe he figures if it's good enough for prime James Harden it's good enough for him.

I think the same thing about Luka. All that losing and criticism during Book's early career made him long to win, not just put up numbers. Young players who put up selfish numbers and then win a fair number of games never seem to learn the lesson.

It's true about Luka, just not quite as extreme. I guess the difference though is that when Luka is actually in good shape he's incredible even with his lackluster defensive effort. Trae has his nights but he isn't on Doncic's level. Still, Luka will never be what he should be until his teammates can trust him every night.

Capela pulls Mobley down from behind and Mobley takes out Capela’s knee

That looks ugly
