Will the QB position ever see what happened to the RB position?

NE was successful as a team only because Brady was being paid less than average market value. Not sure that will happen again.

KM will never see another contract like he has today. By the end of his contract he won’t be among the top ten QB contracts. If will build out the rest of the team while riding KM‘s current contract and we decide KM isn’t worth a new contract they’ll be plenty of scrap heap veteran QBs who want to resurrect their careers if the team around them is a good. Is this model the route we should take?
