Like I said earlier, we love to stuff that pipeline with goalies. Good trade assets down the line for us. Seems like we develop goalies for everyone! You get a goalie, and you get a goalie, and you get a goalie! LOL!

Ugh, I hate that they brought those freakin' 'Grammie's Jammies' jersey's to the draft this year. I want to kill those with fire.

I feel like a special draft day jersey? They seem to want that red color this season. Even the draft team wore red.

The abominations came last season as an alt uniform from designer Rhuigi Villasenor who knows nothing about hockey, is accused of stealing $$ from his design label, and totally misses 100% of the mark. They are the worst unis in all of sports, IMO.

Explain it to me. Why would you not keep him as an asset then trade for another pick, etc?

IMO, last year, he slipped to 8th in ice time for our forwards, hardly played on the PP, and wasn't as physical as he should have been. With the youth movement, give his 3rd/4th line position to someone who can develop a bit more.

And by doing it this way, the Yotes are allowing him to go wherever he wants to, kind of a thank you for what he has done for the team.
