One note on the expected "release" of Giants QB Daniel Jones. Assuming he's placed on waivers either today or tomorrow, he won't clear waivers until Monday.

The owner is on record saying he won't fire Daboll. He saw a documentary on his father and commented that he needs to be more patient like his dad was.

Ain't wishing any permanent damage to brick... but this news bodes really well for the Redbirds in regards to winning the NFCWest this year...
His backup can be forced to feed CMC on check downs all game...which will aggravate the chronic tendonopathy he has in both achilles...which in turn has CMC missing time as well.

Dimes would be a great backup...and he might want the job...considering he has already banked about 80mil and backing up kyler puts him light years away from the new York media...
He could just come to the desert and hide out for a while...and when he steps on the field it will be in a run heavy offense that suits his game.
