The Amazing Spider-Man (reboot)

Spider-Man is the only super hero movies I really look forward to.. Just saw this one.. I liked it.. I liked the others too.. I'm not a comic book dude so I don't get overly detailed about things.. I just kick back and enjoy..

Rented this the other night. I could not have been more bored. Started playing Yahtzee on the iPad midway through.

 

[Covert Rain]

I rented this too. As I suspected, completely unnecessary reboot. Commits the cardinal sin (revealing his identity) not once but 3 times in the same movie. Freaking pisses me off. Now factor in that they should have just continued the story with a new actor kind of pisses me off even more. It's not that it was a bad movie. I liked it better versus the last but it wasn't spectacular by any stretch. It was OK.

When 90% of the thread consists of comments prior to the film's release, it says a lot about how unimpressed the ASFN folks were of the film.

I thought Ema Stone was great, but I didn't care for Garfield.

I'm sure I'll watch the sequels eventually, but I'm not really interested in the new story.
