It is a real shame when someone is talented at two things. They are torn.
Two possibly lucrative careers. How does one decide.
There was Bo Jackson. Football and Baseball

There was Dennis Rodman. Basketball defense and sideshow freak.

There was Ron Artest. Basketball and Recording...and Boxing?

There was Monica Lewinski. Politics and...ahem! What is this board rated?

Now we have Manu. Basketball and acting. As his long-haired nemisis qualifies for the MVP trophy, he has his eyes on another prize. The Oscar. Trading the interview in the locker room with Jim Gray for the one on the red carpet with Star Jones. Unfortunately for Manu, both can be a full time job. I for one am glad that the referees found his performance less convincing tonight. It is unfortunate that someone with so much talent in basketball would trade the opportunity to be mentioned with the Ervings, Jordans and Johnsons for mention with the Divacs and the Lame-beers. (notice clever way to cover the fact that I can't remember how to spell Bill's last name)

I just thought of a joke...What does Vlade, Manu and my wierd bra-less grandma have in common?

Their endless flopping is disgusting!

Anyway, my point is that Manu is young in his career. He has taken some steps toward greatness. If he wants credibility as a player (I'm not talking about street cred either. That's difficult for a long-haired Argentinian to acheive) he needs to stop the flopping. I am glad that he got called on it more tonight.

One last attempt at humor...
What do you call a German Bra?

a Shtopsemfromflopen.

read: stops em from flopping

Perhaps the Suns could fit Manu for one. Maybe Amare did it tonight.

I dont think Manu is as bad as Dirk was. Dirk made me wanna puke.

Anyway, the entire Spurs squad try to get phantom charging calls with this flopping. Their endless crying is sickening. For a team as talented as they are, they expect every single call.

This experiance is great for the Suns. They get to witness a championship level team, playing hard at all parts of the game. The Suns are learning first hand what it takes to be the best...

(I dont mean flopping. More about the Spurs intensity.)

What was even better was that after Manu was down, Q kicked him! Priceless. I also laughed when early in the game Mohammed flopped and the ref shook his head at him. Priceless.

Parker took a flop late in the game on Amare's last basket. I can't believe the Spurs are resorting to such playground type tactics. It was also funny to see Duncan cry for goal tending on Amare's block on his dunk, TD be a man and admit you were denied.
