When she lets out that screeching cackle of a laugh I go into a rage. If my wife did that to me in public I would slap her down until her chiclets popped out of her mouth.

Hacksaw was pretty good back then, but he sure got full of himself when he moved to San Diego. He got really bad then.

The local guys are all pretty bad any more. I would have to say that, IMO, Kemp is probably the best locally. That, more than anything else, points to the state of sports talk radio in the Valley. It's pathetic.

I'm on the 12th floor of a 24 story building and mine does fine. I do have a window office so that may help

My son sits more in the middle of the floor on the 13th floor though and he can get reception just fine too.

You guys in Phoenix are lucky to have variety. The local guys here in Tucson only talk UofA everything... girls softball, baseball, soccer... AAAHHH. It makes my skin crawl when they try and talk about national stories or Phoenix sports, they get their info from headlines only... absolutely no value add.

I agree with others, Colin Cowherd is Great, Eric Ksallis is good as well, but doesn't give much credit to West of the Mississippi....

BUT PLEASE - BRING BACK TONY FEMINO... he was the all time best... "What a joke". Where did Gatos go? That was the best show on Radio ...

I hate to bring you down here, but i have actually served MJ on a couple different times he was out for dates and I have seen him picking up women late night at the bar as well.

Apparently being the "Cardinal Insider" carries some weight with the women in Ahwatukee...............

I like Bob Kemp. If the sports franchises in Phoenix didn't suck so much, he probably wouldn't be so negative. Callers generally stink--on almost all radio shows, but especially local ones--so I think the funniest part of his show is when he berates them.

If you call in right after the preseason and say that the Cards are going to go 12-4, you deserve to get laughed off the air. If you go on and say you think they can go 9-7, and name the games, he'll talk to you about it.

Bob Kemp doesn't care what the callers think, and I appreciate that. He's pretty objective when looking at the college teams (ASU especially), and knows a good thing when he sees it, even if Valley Sports Fan doesn't (i.e., Andrew Walter).

Everyone else on AZ sport talk blows. I like Rome's thing, but I understand if it gets a little tired (I can only handle it for a month or so at a time).

Cowherd is great. Informative and entertaining. Kasillias is pretty good too but he gets preempted here locally so I usually only get to catch him when he fills in for Dan Patrick.
