I have bald spots after scratching my head for the last 3 days. Some of the players that the Cardinals picked could turn out to be good players, but in this extremely deep draft, they have picked one "head scratcher" after another. They had the chance to knock our socks off in this draft, but instead they have really slowed down the momentum and trust that they had built up over the last year. I am very disappointed!

And I think they are killing this draft based on how they want to build this team.

It's only over if they don't get results on the field next year. Head scratcher or not, they still get the benefit of the doubt until we see what happens this season.

I thought Keim was in charge, the honeymoon is over and Arians came out wearing the pants.

Agree.

Have to give the staff some time to work with them and then see what they can do in game speed situations.

Get back to me in about 3-4 years. Declaring the draft a total mission failure before any of these players has taken an NFL snap is equally as absurd as it used to be back in the garbage years, when it would be declared a spectacular success, where the GM would break down into tears. Its the same blank check whether it is written out in black or red numbers. Only a fool would accept it.

Oh hell I forgot how negative Cardinal fans can be until this draft. I actually really really like Bucannon and Niklas I don't know much about John Brown but that pick got all kinds of love.

Only pick I really have complaints about is Thomas

The pick I have the most issue with is Martin...who is a freak but a gamble that he can play OLB, IMO. If he can, big win. If he can't, not sure he's a system fit as we already have CC in his mold.

He's nothing like CC he's tall and lanky he's an OLB who's gonna be coming off the edge

In a deep draft, it would be SO EASY for this organization to follow the Kiper/Mayock/etc. draft boards. Instead, they went with the players they targeted and grabbed them without regard to other people's opinion. They put their jobs on the line with this draft. That tells me they're not drafting to keep their position, they're using their position to draft players they honestly believe will make this team better.

Right or wrong, I respect the decision to choose and stay with their plan to win games this Fall and not win a popularity contest in May.

In defense of BASK, other teams have forced their hand. SD stole Attaochu from them. ARZ isn't interested in coughing up draft picks in order to move up. With that said I would have went with Ealy over Niklas, Ellington over Brown and either Mettenberger or McCarron over Thomas. BA will have his skills with Thomas because he is a HUGE PROJECT. Two picks left, hoping for a couple of LB's, Skov & Jeffcoat would be excellent values at this point. I am shocked Dion Bailey, Antonio Richardson, Seantrel Henderson, Anthony Johnson, McCarron & Mettenberger are still on the board or at least from the last I've checked.

As everyone knows, it's not the results that count. It's what the pundits think. :sarcasm:
