But...how awesome was it to actually see a Cardinal LB shooting the RIGHT gap and making hits at or behind the LOS.

DWash seems to be perfect for Horton's Defense.

Of course starting in July I won't be able to write anything good about him.

:stick:
lol, you mean Dansby right?

and yeah, I would love another badass ILB. I also want 2 new OTs, another WR, and a franchise QB. I'm very happy with our LBs though. I think Scho, Acho, and Wash all have bright futures

Us Texans stick 2gether. :D

You got it bro. The University of Texas. The Nations premier Swimming and Diving School with 19 National Championships.

Someday we'll have to get together. Do you play golf? aka an excuse to get outdoors and drink beer. Sort of like BBQ or going to the lake.

No I mean DWash. The force of the Duckjake jinx is strong. I put Quan Sturdivant and Jeremy Beal on practice squads and almost ruined Beanie Wells career and caused Sam Acho to drop to the 4th round. Once camp starts no more praise for DWash.

Just for fun see if you can find my post on Kolb at halftime of the Cowboys game. The Duckjake jinx: whatever I write about a player on ASFN during the "season" the opposite happens. Every time. :D

lol, I met 4 players at Cards camp and thought I was a jinx too when 2 of em didn't even make it to the regular season (Toler and R-Williams), but the other 2 (Fitz and Wash) survived it. I know what you mean though, superstition and sports go hand-in-hand

wow

but i stand on my belief that Beanie is a large RB lite in the 3 different RB Skill set sets, Power, in traffic and the open field, He is not a scat back but besides that He is the best all around back for years, AP brings a decent pop, but He aint no Beanie Wells!

I stand corrected, I remember Leroy Kelley as the RB that had over 50% of the Cleveland Brown touches after Jim Brown. I know he lead the NFL in carries in 67-68 and even this film says he ran 25-30 times a game.
Now He din't average because of the years behind Jim Brown.

Leroy Kelly ... Eighth-round draft choice, 1964 ... 1,000-yard rusher first three years after becoming regular in 1966 ... Won NFL rushing titles, 1967, 1968 ... Two-time punt return champion: 1965 NFL, 1971 AFC ... All-NFL five years, named to six Pro Bowls ... Career stats: 7,274 yards rushing; 2,281 reception yards; 2,774 return yards; 12,330 combined yards; 90 touchdowns ... Born May 20, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Leroy Kelly? He averaged 12.6 carries a game for his career. Went over 20 carries in a game only 18 times in 136 games.

Oh and by the way only 5 players in NFL history have had more than 400 rushing attempts in a season.

That's too funny. I played in the Cardinals Charity Golf tournament two years in a row. Both years the player I was paired with got cut that fall.
